. . . . one must take care not to allow the truth of Jesus Christ be cast into the shadows of our thinking when seeking for more of it. Fragmented thinking can do that when one does not consider the whole of the instructions presented us which is that which can only take us Home to Father's house, IF we follow them. "Roadside stands" setup at the intersection to celebrate their happiness at arriving at the highway are but empty shells managed by cheerleaders who have never made the turn to continue their journey Home.

only "IF we follow them"? vs. 2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Stay fragmented at your own peril. That too, is all about having a freewill. It is included in the package. However, along with Peter, James and John, who beheld His Glory even more so, Paul as they did, explained Jesus Christ but, to a different crowd.. Embracing the whole of THEIR teaching should be a no-brainer. Albeit, it is always easier for one who hasn't had his/her mind messed with by agenda ridden 'religionists'. . . . . Just something added there for anyone making the attempt at considering what they take into their thinking, need to be careful for..

Remember, we gentiles were never the chosen people nor were we
ever under any law. The Jews were under the law and understood
the law. On the other hand, we were considered dogs. Paul was sent
to the gentiles with the message of Grace through faith alone. He
didn't preach the law to us. We had no law.

Today both gentle and Jew are under the Grace Gospel. (Paul's Gospel)
According to Paul we're living in the Dispensation of Grace.
When it comes to God's final judgement, the unsaved will be judged
by their works. The saved won't be judged by God because
we have the righteousness of Christ Himself.

We'll be judged according to what rewards we'll receive during
the course of our lives. Christ Himself will judge us according to
the rewards we'll receive or the ones we will miss out on. However,
for the saved, there is no judgement nor condemnation. Because,
we are in Christ and He is in us. We're also sealed by the Holy Spirit.

Sounds as if CR has placed himself under the law?

Grace is a free gift from God. Not to be attained by good works/deeds,
following a set of laws, going to church, water baptism, or anything else,
we do.

You apparently have specific things in mind but don't mention them, so there's no way to know what you mean.

According to you they are saying the same thing making your thread meaningless. Unless, they aren't the same thing and you just don't want to let go of your good works which God views as filthy rags.

2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

In modern English: If our physical body is destroyed we have an incorruptible spirit body and immortality in the spirit realm.

#1, because we usually start from the wrong point, we develop a false point of reference. #2, because we take the part as though it were the whole, we develop a fatal near-sightedness. #3, because we start wrong, our ways and means become wrong, and therefore our progress is off in another direction. We really have no proper point of origin established in our thinking that we might connect the dots.

Since the Fall, blinded man has ever continued to make himself central. That is why he goes to church at all. From his point of view, even in the religious realm, concepts and resulting methods become twisted until he is persuaded by secular minded doctrine the church is presenting a God whose entire working is for man__his benefit, welfare, blessing and bliss. Most will admit they believe this is the true work of the church. Who else is important? What else can be preached? Who else but man's salvation is important to God? Does not God Himself expend all His energies and purposes for man __ that he be happy until he dies when he comes to Jesus?
