What is the Doctrine of Demons? 1 Timothy 4:1.

People come to Christ by hearing and believing the Gospel.

"In whom you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION: in whom also after that you believed and were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise" Ephesians 1:13.

Faith in Christ and his Gospel is the entrance into eternal life.

It is Satan's plan to pervert, twist and hide the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ and in doing so keep people from hearing and believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that they can be saved. How does he do that? He does it through religion. Any doctrine that subverts the work or the person of Jesus Christ is the doctrine of Demons.

Example. The Calvinist doctrine of predestination is designed by Satan himself to cause people to lose faith in God and his Son Jesus Christ. How can anyone possibly have faith in a God that predestinates people to hell before they are born? It is not humanly possible to have saving faith in a God that would do such a horrible thing as that.

All false religions will subvert the Gospel and degrade God and his Son Jesus Christ. Sometimes it is very subtle how they do that. Example. Catholics don't believe that Jesus has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil and that we are complete in him, Colossians 2:10. If they did they would not need or do the Catholic religion. Catholicism is the religion of man. They are trying to justify themselves by their works. That is not possible because we are all sinners. God does not accept the works of sinners.

All doctrines that do not honor God and glorify his Son Jesus Christ are the doctrine of Demons. All doctrines that subvert the Gospel of Jesus Christ are the doctrines of Demons. Remember Satan does not want anyone to hear and believe the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ, he wants them to believe a lie.

WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?

The Gospel is about Jesus Christ. In the Gospel Jesus clothes himself in our humanity and becomes one with us, but not one of us. By his righteous, sinless life, he fulfills all of the demands of God's Holy Law. He does this in our name and on our behalf, just like we did it ourselves.

"To declare, I say, at this time HIS righteousness: that he might be just and the justifier of him that believes in Jesus" Romans 3:26.

We are justified (made right with God) by the righteous life of Jesus Christ that was lived in our name and on our behalf. There is only one righteousness that can save and that is the righteousness of Christ. The Christian has no righteousness of his own, his righteousness is in heaven at the right hand of God.

Something had to be done about our sins and the sins of the world.

"For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Jesus, in our name and on our behalf, Jesus takes our sins and the sins of the whole world upon himself and atones for them, 1 John 2:2. In the judgment God will not be able to find any sin in those that confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead, Romans 10:9, 10.

All that Jesus did in his life, death and resurrection was for us. Jesus has victoriously reconciled us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19. All that we are required to do is to accept what he has done for us and to have faith in him, plus nothing.

There is a lot of demonic teaching going on, on this Forum.

To teach that God predestinates people to heaven or to hell is NOT of God. It is of man and of the devil.

To teach that Jesus did NOT atone for the sins of the world is about as demonic as it gets.

To teach that Jesus did NOT victoriously defeat sin, death and the devil is demonic.

To teach that Jesus is NOT God in the flesh is of the devil.

To teach that fallen man must do good works to be saved, is of the devil.

To say or do anything that undermines the saving work of Jesus Christ is of the devil.

What? Jesus is a God-man because Mary wasn't human?

Angels don't procreate so if Mary wasn't human she must have been God-woman.

Cool. I never heard that claim before.

God broke into the human race through the virgin Mary. As the new Adam he came into the world as our representative to do for us that which we cannot do for ourselves.

Hi Robert, Jesus clearly says that his mother, brothers and sisters in God are those who do the will of his father. There isn't a do nothing gospel, there is an obeying and doing Gods will gospel, being doers of the word. Jesus tells us that we are to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow him. And if we are not willing to bare our cross, then we are not worthy of him.

So it isn't a sit back and do nothing gospel, it's a have faith, love God with all our hearts lay down our lives and do his will gospel. And in doing this, we follow Jesus.

That in itself would make Mary human. Humans give birth to humans, therefore Jesus was human the same as we are.

"I said therefore unto you, that you will die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am HE, you shall die in your sins" John 8:24.

Go out and live like the devil while you still have time.

How do you know whether God has DNA or not? :)

You do not know what you are talking about and I can prove it.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) makes Jesus' victory over sin, death, and the devil abundantly clear:

“The victory over sin and death through his Passover…” (CCC pg. 376)

“…Jesus did really die and through his death for us conquered death and the devil….” (CCC pg. 165)

and that we are complete in him, Colossians 2:10.

Wrong again. There are over 200 pages dedicated to our Life in Christ.

If they did they would not need or do the Catholic religion.
Catholicism is the religion of man.

You do not know what Catholicism is or teaches.

You do not even know what Christianity is. The best you have come up with is that Christianity is a "preoccupation".

They are trying to justify themselves by their works.

Wrong again and I can prove it:

“Justification has been merited for us by the Passion of Christ….” (Catechism of the Catholic Church pg. 482)

That is not possible because we are all sinners. God does not accept the works of sinners.

You are beating up on a straw man here.

So tell me Robert, do you intentionally tell lies about what other people believe or is your ignorance level really that high?

We know that ten of the twelve spies gave a negative report of the giants in Canaan.

Numbers 13:33 There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants) and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.

However, this might have been a reference to the NY Giants, who knows?
