What does Eph 4:5 really mean ?

It reads one Lord , one Faith , one Baptism ?

#1 what does the Greek word Baptism mean in Eph 4:5 /

#2 anyone can check the Greek text and will find out that it is the Greek word Baptisma and this Greek word is used 22 times from Matthew , through 1 Peter 3:21 .

what say you what it means ?

It's referring to the ONE baptism of the Holy Spirit.

As opposed to the MANY baptisms Israel had.

I say to all that just because it says baptism , does not always means water baptism !!

1 Cor 10:2 is just one good example .

and another good question is , where did water baptism begin ?

and to who was water baptism ( first given to ) ?

There's not a drop of water in the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

IOW...

The Holy Spirit is what we are being baptised into, not water.

and many today when they see the word baptism , it always means water , but we know different >

so Eph 4:5 in the Greek means one baptisma , which means one baptizer , who's name is the Holy Spirit .
