We are beginning to see results of government response to coronavirus

What we are beginning to see in the US is people unable to feed themselves. Lines outside food banks are enormous. The four food banks in this article are serving well over a thousand cars in a week. I predicted this months ago, and here it is. Even the leftists news orgs are unable to ignore it anymore.

OAKLAND (KPIX 5) – The pandemic has pushed food insecurity to levels not see in decades and people are relying on food banks more than ever here in the Bay Area.

Three times a week, hundreds of cars line up as thousands of pounds of food are all given away at the Alameda County Food Bank.

“We’ve never seen anything like this in 35 years in business. Each one of these distribution is serving well over a thousand cars!” said the food bank’s Director Community Engagement Mike Altfest.

It is one of four locations across Alameda County where folks are receiving much needed basic food for free. They are people who may have lost their jobs when their businesses were forced to shut down due to pandemic concerns.

“They start lining up as early as seven in the morning and this will run for six straight hours” said Altfest.

Hundreds of cars slowly snake their way through the parking lot across from the Acura dealership on Interstate 880. Folks from all walks of life driving everything from Toyota’s, BMW’s, to Mercedes, all coming to get food. Folks are grateful for the charity.

And this is just the beginning. If the economy is not fully opened up immediately we are going to see mass starvation.

Your thinking is really bizarre. So if Trump had locked down the entire economy even earlier in the year there would be more jobs and businesses open and creating income for individuals at the present time? How you get to that point is beyond me as it is absolutely irrational. The lockdowns are what has created this problem and the longer it is in play the more people there are that are going to be living at starvation level. And you guys have argued all along that the lockdowns should be extended for only then would the population be "safe".

You are now blaming Trump for both Democrat's behavior and your own support for lockdowns and the need for extended lockdowns. It's insane. Can you guys ever take responsibility for your own behavior and ideology? It doesn't appear be so.

If he'd acted faster perhaps and that figure is hardly concrete. It's not breaking news that people with underlying health conditions were more at risk from this virus, in fact it was stated from the get go.

Trump has been advocating re-opening the economy for months now because of the economic destruction lockdowns create and the leftists have been saying how unloving and uncaring he is for wanting people to be able to support themselves. Now they are blaming him for what they hated him for advocating in favor of doing.
