Nigel Farrage can be good for a laugh to be honest, unlike yourself unfortunately.

No surprise that musterion, who's been repeatedly taken in by fake news and had the poor judgment to repost it here without fact-checking it (and without apology) would have just as poor judgment of your intelligence. Oh well.

What, those are the only options available?

It ain't a game show GJ...

How about those who oppose a welfare system explain just how the impoverished are going to be catered for and just how charity will reach all those in need?

Take it away...

Does the welfare system do that?
Does it cater to "all those in need" ?

One need not be a Mensa member to see that AB isn't one of the best and brightest.

Eh, having your intellect disparaged by the likes of Musty & GM is kinda like having your hair criticized by Donald Trump...

It's what it's designed to do but like any system, it isn't perfect and unfortunately some people slip through it. Now how about you answer my questions?

You're asking me for my solution to poverty in my country?
That's a tall order, brother. But I'll try.

If you don't want to be permanently poor in America...

1. Graduate high school
2. Get a job.
3. Don't have kids before you're married.

Not committing crimes, and not doing drugs also helps.

Well, that would solve everything then.

If you're asking for an alternative to the welfare system, then voluntary charity would be more just, I think.

The ends simply do no justify the means. Why forcefully take away one citizen's money and give it to another?

And what rate would be a just one, in your opinion? Should we forcefully take 1% of a man's pay to redistribute? What if the poor remain? Should we take 10%? There will still be poor people, right? Keep taking more, then? 90% of the rich man's pay?

Should we keep taking until no poor people remain? Where to stop, and why?

Voluntary charity would barely make a dent overall and any charitable organization would simply balk at what you suggest. Even with the safety nets in place charity can't reach everyone.

The very same system you bemoan so much is as much there for you should you find yourself out of a job or unable to work.

I understand that you're either being willfully ignorant or laughably simplistic. Not everybody has access to a good education, or come from stable family backgrounds or have responsible parents etc etc etc...

Everyone in the USA has access to a free high school education.
And you don't need responsible parents in order to get a job, or to not have kids before being married.
