This statement is another of a long line showing how willing Bob is to pass on pseudo--scientific nonsense if it supports his theology. Velikovsky had the ability to weave together myth and bad science into a story that caught the attention of many in the public. The impact that Velikovsky had on the public with his books finally prompted a seminar in which his views were examined by experts. Close detailed examination showed his amalgam was of unrelated myths, legends, and information from ancient records, both religious and secular, with seriously misapplied scientific principles. Velikovsky has been documented as a scientific fraud for decades now, but that doesn’t matter to Mr. Truthful man-of-God Enyart.
