For years in America, our college students have become more and more politically correct, to the point of banning certain everyday words and phrases. I applaud the University of Chicago for doing this, maybe more colleges will follow suit.

at the moment - this semester my classes are online, so once i get everything rolling, i should be able to do it from home

I agree. There are times when individuals need to be protected but these are very extreme cases (assault, rape, etc). I am from the left and even I do not think there should be such a thing as intellectual safe zones.
