THE STRANGER AND PASSOVER

Numbers 9:14 And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.

The Lord always made provision for Gentile strangers to come to God through Israel if they so willed. He formed the nation of Israel and gave them the promises and covenants to bring salvation to the world. The passover was the shadow of his salvation in the shed blood of Christ, the passover lamb.

True!

"...and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me" (Gen.22:18).

Numbers 9:14 And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do; ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
yup...but according to the rite of passover...and according to the manner thereof which is found here:

Exodus 12:48 “And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.”

Exodus 12:19 “For seven days no leaven shall be found in your houses, since whoever eats what is leavened, that same person shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a stranger or a native of the land.”

so shall he do

Notice the meat sacrifice is about blood shedding circumcision and lamb sacrifice...but the unleavened bread...is for ALL...

So which of these two is no longer necessary?

Which is instructed by Paul to gentile Corinthians to keep with the new unleavened bread of spirit and truth”? 1 Cor 5:8 because as ONE they are to celebrate the feast even though some are Greek and some are Jew...ONE Spirit...1 Cor 12:13

Because as Paul says AGAIN to those circumcised WITHOUT HANDS this time not to the Corinthians but to the Colossians...”these ARE a shadow of things to come”...just for Jews? LOL

so shall he do

By the way the last supper was NOT a passover meal is why the Eastern Orthodox are correct to use leavened bread in their communion meal...alas protestants follow and wonder after Rome...and also with this bread thingy...

Indeed however according to rites and manners...so shall he do...it is after all...A CONTRACT...

yours forgets that and wishes to free load or squat in the kingdom as if it is divided between those that wanted to...and those that claimed they didnt have to...LOL...and NOT do as YOU SHALL

Would NOW be a good time to list all the texts in the OT to remind you how many times “ONE LAW for native and stranger ALIKE” is instructed?

How about we start with the most hated one yours does NOT so shall he do?

Exodus 20: 8”Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy, six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is...do no work...you...nor your stranger” who is grafted in...the ONLY commandment listing inclusion of the foreigner

Maybe the deal needs to be sweetened for you....I mean you ARE wanting the PROMISE...RIGHT? which is available by LAW as it ALWAYS was coming INTO the ekklesia in the OT wilderness as Stephen called it Acts 7:38

I mean since His destroying the enmity Jews had of you...and His breaking down the middle wall of division which kept you out Eph 2:14...was NOT enough for you...and now you even claim so shall he do is NOT FOR YOU...NOT dispensed TO YOU...the very Law that STATES YOUR RIGHT

So how about this?

Ezekiel 47:21 “Thus you shall divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel. 22 And it shall be that you will divide it by lot as an inheritance for yourselves, and for the strangers who sojourn among you and who bear children among you. They shall be to you as native born among the children of Israel: they shall have an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel. 23 And it shall be that in whatever tribe the stranger sojourns, there you shall give him his inheritance.” says Yah.

Maybe NOW so shall he do? LOL

After all Isaiah did say 14:1 the foreigner will join the house of Jacob...nothing there about becoming the tribe of Judah

I mean he did say “...the sons of the foreigner WHO JOIN themselves with Yah to SERVE Him and to love the name of Yah to be His servants-EVERYONE who keeps keeps from defiling the Sabbath and holds fast My covenant-EVEN THEM I will bring to my holy mountain...”Isaiah 56:6-7

Maybe that is why Yahushua says the Sabbath was made for man...and not just Jews...you know JUST LIKE when the ekklesia received it when in the OT wilderness...

nawwww...not for yours right?

Christianity, from its very beginning, has had trouble balancing its Jewish origins with its more universal religious approach.

Yup...

And Jews from the beginning have always conspired Jer 11:9 for personal gain by placing a finger on the scale making it all about them rather than what was promised to Deut 4:37 and for ALL...
