Hi to all and some say that it JUST a plays on words in Matt 16:18 where Peter is called the PETROS and then someone else is called the PETRA ,

In 1 Cor 10:4 WE see that the one called PETRA is no other than Christ Himself and that is whom the MESSIANNIC Assembly of Jews will be built on and NOT on Peter !!

And we see from Gal 2:was PRACITICING Jew and not a Gentile and trying to get Gentiles to ADOPT Jewish customs !!

This is passage is a HARD HIT to PENTCOSTALISM as Peter is a Jew , and when are the PENTECOSTALS going to CONVERT to Judaism !!

So much for another bad reading by the RCC and not a Play on Words !!

Nope. Petra is a feminine noun and does not refer to Jesus Christ, it refers to the truth that God's church is built on Jesus being the Christ, the Son of the living God.
