The Myth of saying that God Loved all men in the world without exception !

So True Brother, the World [kosmos] of John 3:16 is referring to the scope of God's Redemptive Love in Christ which is exclusive to Believers; God's Elect, a remnant of all humanity who were Chosen to Belief of the Truth.

Amen, the "us" and "we" of Rom. 5:8 that Christ Died for is comprised of none other than God's Elect.

So it's God's Beloved Elect exclusively that Christ died and makes Intercession for:


Rom. 8:33-34

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

And these Elect of God are the same Beloved Ones which were Chosen of the Father In Union with Christ, to be Holy and without blame before Him in Love, and predestinated to an Eternal Inheritance Eph. 1:4-11 which is indeed Salvation !

Amen, every Beloved Saint of God John 3:16 will at some point in their lifetime experience the Sanctifying Power of God the Holy Spirit: The same ones whom the Son Sanctified Himself in behalf of in John 17:17-20. The Spirit begins and completes His Sanctifying Work in each One of them, to the Glory of God !

2 Cor. 3:18 But we all [Saints Rom. 5:8], with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Gods Love effects spiritual favorable consequences. Rev 1:5

Gods Love will produce being washed from our sins by the blood of Christ. So eveyone in Jn 3:16 of the World God so loved, have been washed from their sins.

Now does that include all mankind without exception ? Absolutely not, for many will die in unbelief in their sins Jn 8:24

²⁴ I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

However thats impossible for ones God loves and washed from their sins. They shall receive mercy for their sins and unbelief Rom 11:32

³² For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

There is an eternal aspect of being "set apart," as you indicate. There is also a 'temporal' aspect, and that is the visible, objective distinction between the Church, particularly in weekly Mass, where we celebrate the Eucharist (lit. "thanksgiving" in "the Greek")---the Real Presence of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God (Mt18:20KJV)---and the rest of the world; be they Satanists, Idolaters, or any variety of stubborn yet authentic Christians, who nonetheless "neglect to hear the Church" (Mt18:17KJV).

Come into the Lord's fold !

Many do falsely teach that the world in Jn 3:16 that God so loved is inclusive of all mankind without exception. This they teach wilfully in spite of the various meanings and usages of the word world in scripture. One of the meanings of the word world kosmos is:

any aggregate or general collection of particulars of any sort

For example the collection of all Gods Sheep, or the gathering together of all Gods children constitute a kosmos or world.

Jesus loved His own in the world Jn 13:1

So His Own here is a world which is contrasted to the world they were in !

Rom. 9:22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:


The workers of iniquity are all those who permanently remain in their sins because God never loved them nor did Christ die for them. Therefore they are without hope of being redeemed: Doomed to destruction !

Job 21:30 That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.
