THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The kingdom of heaven is not in heaven, it is the thousand year reign of Christ on earth (Revelation 20:4-6).

1 Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

The kingdom of God includes heaven and earth. The body of Christ will be in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), and Israel will be on earth in the kingdom (Revelation 5:10 Deuteronomy 4:40).

Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The kingdom of heaven promised Israel had requirements for entrance.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

For believing Israel to enter the kingdom on earth, they had to do his will (John 6:40 Revelation 22:14).

Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The twelve were sent to preach the gospel of the kingdom to Israel, that the kingdom of heaven was at hand (Mark 1:14-15 Matthew 4:23 Luke 9:6).

Matthew 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

The twelve, the disciples, were given understanding in regard to the kingdom, which was conveyed by Jesus in parables (Matthew 13:24).

Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

All things will be gathered in Christ; All things in heaven and earth. If it were already just one kingdom in heaven, what would be gathered together?

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The kingdom of heaven is not in heaven, it is the thousand year reign of Christ on earth (Revelation 20:4-6).

The kingdom of heaven is in heaven and in the hearts of the saved.

There isn't a different kingdom called kingdom of heaven and another kingdom called the kingdom of God; it is the same kingdom. A person can see from the scriptures that the kingdom is called different things but it is still the one and same kingdom.

the kingdom of Christ and God." Ephesians 5:5

the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.’" Revelation 11:15

who calls you into his kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 2:12

the kingdom of God is within you."Luke 17:20-21

the kingdom of God ahead of you. Matthew 21:31.

the kingdom of God has come to you. Luke 11:20

the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, Romans 14:17

the kingdom of God.” Mark 12:34

the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matthew 11:28

the kingdom of his beloved Son," Colossians 1:13

the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. Matthew 23:13

the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.
Matthew 11:12

The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.” Matthew 13:33

the kingdom of light. Colossians 1:12

That is about when someone is saved and receives the Holy Spirit.

The kingdom of heaven promised Israel had requirements for entrance.
There are requirements for everyone who wants to be saved.

It's not a different gospel, it is just to the Jews first and then the Gentiles.

It is to the Jews first because they were the ones in the relationship with God and in the covenant.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Romans 2:9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;

Acts 3:26 When God raised up His servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways."

Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: "We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.

Acts 18:6 But when they opposed and insulted him, he shook out his garments and told them, "Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles."

Jesus is ruling in Jerusalem now.

When we come to Jesus to be saved, we are actually coming to Jesus in new Jerusalem in heaven.

Hebrews 12:22But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,

When one gets saved, Jesus puts us in that new Jerusalem with him.

1 Peter 2:5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

There is no Jesus ruling on earth with a bunch of saved and unsaved.

Those not in the first resurrection will be the only ones not thrown in the lake of fire.

The first resurrection is that of our spirits when we are saved and placed in Christ.

When he comes again, he raises the dead and puts death and Hades in the lake of fire. Death is the last enemy.

The new Jerusalem that is in heaven where Jesus is ruling now will come down from heaven and then Jesus hands the kingdom over to the Father.
