The Death Penalty Could Have Saved Amanda Knox

This is the show from Monday October 3rd, 2011.

SUMMARY:

* If Only Italy Would Have Had the Swift Death Penalty: If Italy had the swift death penalty, it is very possible that Meredith Kercher would be back in Britain right now (instead of being slain in a brutal murder), and that Raffaele Sollecito and Amanda Knox might still be dating, or perhaps married, or parted, but regardless, they would likely never have been wrongly accused, and thrown in jail. And perhaps most significantly of all, the murderer himself may not have become a murderer. Now that's fundamental reform, reform of a broken criminal justice system, that is refreshing, enabling, and freeing. For as of now, it's no longer a justice system, now it's just a system.

* Janeane Garofalo: Racist Conservatives Vote for Herman Cain: From the You-can't-make-this-stuff-up file. Yeah, they're supporting a black man for president to cover up their racism. Very insightful Janeane.

* Roseanne Barr said, "The Poor Can Drop Dead Before I'd Give Them My Millions": Or something like that. Actually, she told BBC/Jeezera/Russia Today's Max Keiser that if a banker wanted to keep more than $100 million dollars of his wealth, he should be sent to a re-education camp, and if that didn't change his mind, then he should be beheaded (not Keiser, but the banker). But why then did Roseanne set the bar so high at $100 million? That's to keep a comfortable margin for her Hollywood millionaire friends, even though of course they could easily live on one or two million, and have the government confiscate the rest to help the poor.

* Post-Show Update: Check out The consequences of evolutionary racism by Josh Craddock, an advocate for family at the United Nations and a students of politics at The King's College in New York City about the board member and early supporters of Planned Parenthood who shared the same worldview used to justify reprehensible U.S. medical experiments on Guatemalans and African-Americans.

Amanda Knox is back in Seattle in hiding. She's most likely not hiding from those that wish to do her harm, but from her fan base that want to kiss her feet (abortionists, homosexuals and the rest of the moral degenerates that comprise the city of Seattle WA). There's talk that she'll be making millions in books and movie rights (Casey Anthony anyone?).

I'm sure there's talk also that she'll be the Grand Marshall in next June's march of the moral degenerates (i.e. gay pride parade).

Rest in peace Meredith, your murderer fooled the Italian court system, but she can't fool God.

You're completely obsessed with homosexuals, you understand that?

He's gone through two user names so far and it's only gotten worse.

As for the trial: the only reason we ever heard about it is because the victim was pretty and because Knox was attractive and white. Don't see much indicating Knox was involved but the boyfriend sure looks guilty as can be.

That opening paragraph really reminds me of the Chewbacca Defense.

The opening paragraph doesn't convey the lunacy of Pastor Bob's position - you should listen to the audio of the show. He advocates (over and over) a swift (within 24 hours) and painful death penalty. And not just for murder.

I've heard this nonsense before. Don't need to go through it again...:nono:

Janeane Garofalo :freak: I just don't get her logic. A black conservative must be very confusing to her.

We need to bring back the death penalty in full force. It would cut down on murders and rapes.

She burned out her last functioning neuron from drug use years ago.

She's just rattling along, doing the best she can, God bless her little heart.

Remember, liberals should be thought of as little children, often cute and loveable, often crabby and cranky, but never really able to take care of themselves or reason at an adult level.

We're really the last western power to even use it. Define "full force."

And explain how capital punishment deters criminals in states that have it. Because Texas's violent crime rate doesn't seem changed at all by the electric chair.

Sigh; just when I thought we had established a bond over agreeing that Libertarianism and Christianity are incompatible.

You strike me as the kind of guy that thought OJ Simpson was innocent of murder as well. (I didn't know you were black Granite).

And you continue to strike me as more clueless than usual (though you're lying less). OJ was guilty as could be, and it was obvious from day one. Missing/Endangered White Woman Syndrome doesn't have anything to do with OJ, really, but it does go a ways towards explaining why an unextraordinary homicide got such extraordinary coverage in the Knox case.

It appears that you're still the angry little atheist that you once were. Regarding OJ: Exactly; innocent people (even rich black men) don't run from the law.

Being in the area that "Foxy Knoxy" is from, I was privy to the "court of public opinion", which didn't work in the Troy Davis case, but obviously did with Knox.

In 5 different languages mind you.

Oh, and be sure to get a liberal US Senator involved in the case:

US Senator Maria Cantwell releases statement on Amanda Knox case

"Senator Cantwell's statement:
"I am saddened by the verdict and I have serious questions about the Italian justice system and whether anti-Americanism tainted this trial. The prosecution did not present enough evidence for an impartial jury to conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that Ms. Knox was guilty.
Italian jurors were not sequestered and were allowed to view highly negative news coverage about Ms. Knox."

Any more "cop" stories for us, toilet boy?

Oh, he could run, all right; Juice just couldn't hide for long...

As for the support Knox got: good for her especially if she was falsely accused, and if so, I'm glad she's home. That said, I doubt the court of public opinion really would've cared much if she and the victim didn't happen to be photogenic. This happens all the time.

There was this time I caught this atheist from New Hampshire smoking a joint and looking at porn...

Was black man Troy Davis "photogenic"?

Liberals don't care about justice. We're talking about people (and I use the word loosely when talking about liberals) who murder their own babies in the womb and use the word "choice" to make themselves feel better. Knox is one of them, and they ALWAYS take care of their own.

I'm thinking the only thing you've ever caught is probably a cold sore. (I don't smoke weed, by the way.)

What in the world does liberalism have to do with anything in this (foreign) trial? And who among us has any idea about Knox's political sentiments, not that they matter a bit in this case?

The death penalty wouldn't have "saved" anyone here, least of all the victim of a crime of passion. Accusation isn't the same as guilt.
