Texas busing illegals to DC

What a great plan! Democrat DC is the best place to send new illegal border-crossing democrat voters.

Texas shipped its first busload of migrants to Washington on Wednesday as part of Gov. Greg Abbott’s plan to make President Biden and the nation’s capital feel some of the pain of the border crisis.

The group was dropped just yards from the U.S. Capitol and a second busload is already on its way, Mr. Abbott said in a statement announcing the arrivals.

“By busing migrants to Washington, D.C., the Biden administration will be able to more immediately meet the needs of the people they are allowing to cross our border,” the Republican governor said. “Texas should not have to bear the burden of the Biden Administration’s failure to secure our border.”

The left is not happy. Pensaki (sounds like an oriental raw fish luncheon delight) fumed that Texas has no right to interfere with Biden's immigration policies because the immigration issue belongs to the federal government, not to the people or politicians of individual states. In other words, Pensaki believes Biden can obey, disobey, rewrite, or invent whatever policies he wants with regard to immigration and Americans have no right to interfere. Such is the deluded mindset of devoted leftist fascist democrats.

Press secretary Jen Psaki said "I think it’s pretty clear this is a publicity stunt” when asked what the Biden administration planned to do in response to Gov. Abbott's initiative. “His own office admits that a migrant would need to voluntarily be transported, and then he can’t compel them to because, again, enforcement of our country’s immigration laws lies with the federal government and not a state,” she added.

A second busload arrives! Things are looking up! Let the DC democrats handle the immigration problem the Dc democrats in Congress have created.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, says his state is transporting the illegal aliens because of the Biden administration’s lax immigration enforcement policies.

“There’s one thing that is perfectly clear, and that is the Biden administration and a lot of leaders in Congress have no idea about the chaos they have caused by their open border policies,” Abbott told reporters in Laredo. “And they refuse to come down and see firsthand and talk to the people who are really most adversely affected. If they’re not going to come to the border, I’m going to take the border to them and Washington D.C.”

Additional illegal immigrants will be bussed or flown to Washington so that the White House and Congress will “have to respond and deal with the same challenges that we’re dealing with,” he added.

What are democrats in DC so giddy about? Paying billions from city and state budgets to provide food, shelter, schooling, health care, and living expenses for illegals who are not allowed to work to provide for themselves?

A second busload of illegal immigrants from Texas arrived in Washington on Thursday morning, delighting leaders of neighboring counties who said they will be more than happy to have those surging the border right now settle in the D.C. area.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s office said the latest load of migrants were dropped off near the White House. A previous bus Wednesday delivered a couple dozen people to Union Station, near the Capitol.

The Republican governor is shipping the people north to try to share some of the pain Texas says it’s feeling from the chaotic U.S.-Mexico border under President Biden.

But leaders of communities surrounding Washington said they’re more than happy to have the new arrivals settle here, no matter their legal status.

“What the governor of Texas is doing is an abhorrent and mean-spirited political stunt. I am proud to live in a county and a state that would not accept that type of leadership,” said Marc Elrich, county executive in Montgomery County, Maryland.

The giddiness over illegal immigration is likely caused by ignorance of facts like these:

Introduction A continually growing population of illegal aliens, along with the federal government’s inefective eforts to secure our borders, present signifcant national security and public safety threats to the United States. Tey also have a severely negative impact on the nation’s taxpayers at the local, state, and national levels. Illegal immigration costs Americans billions of dollars each year. Illegal aliens are net consumers of taxpayer-funded services and the limited taxes paid by some segments of the illegal alien population are, in no way, signifcant enough to ofset the growing fnancial burdens imposed on U.S. taxpayers by massive numbers of uninvited guests.

Not everyone in the Biden administration is happy that Texas officials are serving the interests of Texans instead of allowing the Biden administration to force its unwelcome will and agenda on Texans.

A senior Homeland Security official chided Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for busing illegal immigrants to Washington, saying Thursday that the Republican governor was hurting the government’s efforts to coordinate how the migrants are released.

“Governor Abbott is taking actions to move migrants without adequately coordinating with the federal government and local border communities,” said Chris Magnus, head of Customs and Border Protection.
His message conflicted with that of the White House, which on Wednesday had ironically praised Mr. Abbott’s migrant-shipping initiative, saying the governor was giving a free ride to people who were already headed to Washington anyway.
