Beware the sweet-sounding leftist dogma "stakeholder capitalism." Under stakeholder capitalism, the government sets wages, sets profits, decides how to distribute profits, how the business is to be run, what benefits are to be given to workers, and so much more. In other words, stakeholder capitalism is just another word for communism in language meant to deceive the ignorant into accepting it as an alleged improvement on capitalism as America has known it for centuries.

His answer is “Stakeholder
Capitalism.” It sounds warm and
fuzzy but is in many ways is the
primary gateway drug to Marxist
totalitarianism. Basically, Stakeholder
Capitalism eliminates the market mechanism and forces a focus on the
stakeholders of employees, customers, or society at large. Without profit
as a measure, there is no objective basis for evaluation. Thus, politicians,
bureaucrats, or initially the mob sets the ever-fluid standard.
