Spin, spin, spin..... :juggle:

Wow... so you really DO think that the ONLY thing that the word "saved" can possibly mean is eternal life? You are way out there man.

And what's Israel's is Israel's.

Not eternal life as a thing in itself. the Bible never refers to it apart from qualification (justification) for it. That is why the offer of Peter there is 'blotting out (of sins)'. That is a bookkeeping term and shows the deep similarity between himself and Paul. They were both talking about the imputation of righteousness (or non-imputation of sins, rom 4).

The refreshing times of the Spirit comes with that, all through the NT.

The restoration of all things is the NHNE. there is nothing Judaic about it, because it is all things, and the total loss of the land, temple, city of Jerusalem was a fresh prophecy.

I think the NHNE and end of the world and day of all jdugement could have been right after the DofJ, because Mt24B is 'right after'. But it also allows for a delay and God took that option to save more people.

Try to calm down and not be so quick to "look" correct and taking short cuts to put people down who are different from you.

Ha ha ha .... that is hilarious coming from a scripture twister that is ALWAYS "trying to look correct" by taking "liberties" with God's Word.

The "refreshing times"? Twisting the night away...... If you are referring to Acts 2:19, then you're WAY off again, but I'd expect nothing less from you.
Acts 3:19-21 (AKJV/PCE)
(3:19) ¶ Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; (3:20) And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: (3:21) Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Clearly a YET future even WHEN Peter spoke THIS.

But the refreshing things were taken place already. He was speaking in the contingent sense: if you repent and respond, they will come (God knows how awful Israel had been to live in then...). It was the work of the spirit, the outreach, the visions and dreams, the sharing of things in common, the prayer meetings that created earthquakes, the miracles, signs, wonders mentioned over and over in those early days. What else does God have to do to help you see it?

He would naturally say that to those who were not benefiting yet. That's all its about.

You can't confine "sending Jesus" to a theocracy when all that is going on!

I understand he could have returned right after Mt24A but they (the Godhead) delayed the final day of judgement.

There were two blessings Peter was trying to pass on: the blotting out/forgiveness and the turning each of you from your wicked ways. The wicked ways included the futility of Judaism and thinking it ended there. To participate in the mission, like Paul, was the refreshing blessing.

Peter and Paul were totally unified on those two points. So even while Peter is speaking here to Israel, his own recounting of this in ch 15 is that he was to reach the nations.

If the paragraph is distant future, why put in v26 which is a direct, current appeal? Because it is about the blessing and uses that same word.

There is no offer of a restored theocracy or withdrawal of it. It is the mission and then the NHNE which restores everything. That's why all rom 4 says is Abraham would inherit the world to come and Gentiles along with him. That has always been the offer and the mission. "All the prophets have spoken these days"--of blessing all the peoples of earth.

Study to shew thyself schizoid, IP; for you haven't a lick of sense when it comes to discerning the obvious boundaries between two missions within one purpose.

Typical of the schizoid mind; you just open the fridge and grab whatever is there...as there for you to steal.

Some ninety five years ago or so, and the truism of one individual way back then, continues to ring true of you and your kind, to this very moment...

"People without spiritual eyes" (can only end up) "tell"(ing) "spiritual lies..."

You are, in a word; hopelessly blinded by your own self-delusion.

Yep, wrath and judgement at His second coming, then refreshing, restitution, restoration, regeneration, and ruling with a rod of iron over Israel and the nations.

Not a distant future, though, not even about the 2nd coming. It would (and had) started as soon as they responded in repentance. I happen to believe the 2nd coming in judgement cuold have been right after the DofJ but was delayed.

So where in Acts is the total, clear declaration of the next Judaic episode you seek? No where that it matters, like ch 13 or 26. It never matters enough to mention in any discussion. It does not exist.

Which is another thing about MAD: if I seem to be using arguments from silence by QUOTING ch 13 and 26, MAD folk are totally freaked at being told about their arguments from silence.

But the refreshing things were taken place already.
Then why in the world would Peter say "WHEN the times of refreshing SHALL COME"? Again you refuse to simply believe what the Bible says so PLAINLY!

I see it just fine AND I understand it. Regardless of whether it was "contingent" or not, it had NOT YET come. You say that it had; the Bible say that it SHALL COME. I'll stick with the Bible.

He would naturally say that to those who were not benefiting yet. That's all its about.
SHALL COME!

You can't confine "sending Jesus" to a theocracy when all that is going on!
Boy are you dense.

The blotting out was YET FUTURE also.
Acts 3:19 (AKJV/PCE)
(3:19) ¶ Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Why do you always refuse to accept what the Bible says?

Peter and Paul were totally unified on those two points. So even while Peter is speaking here to Israel, his own recounting of this in ch 15 is that he was to reach the nations.
Peter and Paul were unified on many things, that does not make their ministries identical.

If the paragraph is distant future, why put in v26 which is a direct, current appeal? Because it is about the blessing and uses that same word.

It's perfectly within ALL that God has proclaimed throughout the scripture that BOTH Israel and the Gentiles would be blessed THROUGH Israel. Israel will have its place above the other nations, just like God said that they would and at that SAME time, Gentiles will be blessed. It's really not that hard if you just let ALL of the scripture be true. Instead you fight it and make things up.

If you look at the Scripts you posted - it is obvious that believers are not part of the "House of "Israel" [which are ethnic Jews] but are a SPIRITUAL HABITATION [Jew and Gentile - known as Christians, not Jews and Gentiles "no mo"]. We are of the body of Christ and citizens of Heaven --- not of the nation of Israel - who rejected our Lord and Savior. Back to the drawing board for you :1Way:

The House of Gods Israel are made up of people from all nations and ethnic backgrounds.

Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The Body of Christ is His Bride.

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Eph 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Eph 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
Eph 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Eph 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Eph 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

We are a spiritual habitation. We are not Jews. One NEW man, not one reworked man with whom the covenant between God and Israel was broken. Israel was a physical nation of physical Jews which rejected Christ. This is a NEW covenant, not a rehashed old one made up of Jews who believe and Gentiles who believe. Prophetically, only a remnant of Jews will be saved.

The new covenant is between the same two parties are the old.

Jer 31:31-33 (AKJV/PCE)
(31:31) ¶ Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: (31:32) Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: (31:33) But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

God never made any covenants with gentiles. But, in the body of Christ, He does make a promise of eternal life in Christ for those that believe.

Jesus said the New Covenant is in His blood for the forgiveness of sins. Heb 8 and 9 clearly show that this covenant is for all, else how will you be saved?

The body of Christ is saved by faith in Jesus Christ and His shed blood for our sins and is NOT based on any covenant.

You need to do more that throw out a couple of vague chapter references. The entire book TO the HEBREWS is just that.

The quote of Jeremiah in Hebrews 8 is exactly the same as Jeremiah. Same two parties, God and Israel.

That is the new covenant.

Matthew 26:28
for this is my blood of the new covenant [G1242], which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mark 14:24
And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new covenant [G1242], which is shed for many.

Luke 22:20
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant [G1242] in my blood, which is shed for you.

1 Corinthians 11:25
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant [G1242] in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

2 Corinthians 3:6
who also hath made us able ministers of the new covenant [G1242]; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Hebrews 9:15
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new covenant [G1242], that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant [G1242], they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 18 Whereupon neither the first covenant [G1242] was dedicated without blood. 19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 20 saying, This is the blood of the covenant [G1242] which God hath enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Hebrews 8:6
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant [G1242], which was established upon better promises.

Hebrews 12:24
and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant [G1242], and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Heb 13
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant [G1242], 21 make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

To the Gentiles:

Gal 3
21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? 22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. 24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. 25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. 26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. 27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. 28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. 29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. 30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. 31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

who also hath made us able ministers of the new covenant [G1242]; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

I completely understand your confusion. Churchianity has been teaching this for a very long time and you fell for it.

1 Corinthian 11:25 is a REMEMBRANCE. It does NOT mean or SAY that the body of Christ is under a covenant that belongs to Israel.

2 Corinthians 3:6 is another one that does NOT say that the body of Christ is under a covenant. Ministering is NOT being UNDER a covenant. The ones under the covenant would be MINISTERED TO.

The Hebrews WERE the ones under the old covenant, so no big surprise there! They will also be the ones under the new covenant that the LORD will make with the house of Israel and house of Judah (the Hebrews).

In Galatians 3, Paul is using the two covenants as an ANALOGY. He is NOT saying that we are under a covenant, but that we are FREE from the LAW.

The new covenant still has the law, but the Spirit will give them the power to KEEP it. This passage speaks of that time:
Ezek 36:21-38 (AKJV/PCE)
(36:21) ¶ But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went. (36:22) Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not [this] for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. (36:23) And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I [am] the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. (36:24) For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. (36:25) ¶ Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. (36:26) A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. (36:27) And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them]. (36:28) And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. (36:29) I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. (36:30) And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen. (36:31) Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that [were] not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. (36:32) Not for your sakes do I [this], saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel. (36:33) Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause [you] to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. (36:34) And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. (36:35) And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities [are become] fenced, [and] are inhabited. (36:36) Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined [places, and] plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken [it], and I will do [it]. (36:37) Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet [for] this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do [it] for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. (36:38) As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.

You are right about one thing, we are not "under a covenant" with Christ - we are IN His Covenant. The old covenant is the Mosaic Law. That is the covenant that was given at MT Sinai that God has rejected and made a new covenant with His people - all those who believe in His Son. It was "ratified" in His blood and became in effect the nanosecond Jesus died. The verses I posted show that all people who believe in Jesus Christ are washed in the blood of His new covenant.

Paul said TWO covenants. One is bondage under Hagar, the other is in Christ aka Jerusalem. You don't seem to understand that the old covenant has passed away - it was ratified in the blood of animals. There is no salvation in that covenant, but only in the covenant of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. You are ignoring all the Scripture I posted which is for Jew and Gentile alike and equally.

No, they do not. I showed you what they meant, but you simply ignored it.

Paul is USING the two covenants as a TOOL.... to CONTRAST law and grace.

Nowhere will you see Paul telling a gentile that they are under the new covenant.

The new covenant has law to be kept.
