Well, neither of us need an excuse, certainly not where it comes to pointing out your ignorant claims and naivety. Margaret Thatcher certainly had strengths, especially during times such as the Falklands conflict where strong leadership was required but in other areas anything but. The Thatcher administration was ultimately undone by introducing one of the most unfair taxes in UK political history, the community charge also known as the "poll tax". Even my parents who were pretty staunchly conservative drew the line at that. Not surprisingly it was scrapped but the damage had already been done.

I'm "liberal" in the sense of "live and let live" and don't want to see anything akin to what certain people would have as society where it's practically a far right religious state.
Back in 1998 I visited the Auschwitz museum and it was and will remain the most chilling experience I "hope" to have in my life. From the initial stages where there's just cabinets of suitcases, belongings of those who died through to the courtyard with candles and the ovens it was unforgettable.
For you to "argue" that people on the left side/differing position to yours of the political spectrum have or would hold anything in support of the monstrous atrocities that were perpetuated by the Nazis is flat out pathetic. Your puerile rape stuff only shows your own juvenile ignorance, not to mention a lack of anything resembling objective intelligence or character.

My Mother drove an ambulance in London during the Blitz, and she believed in decent support for the unemployed and the sick.
