The leaders of two separatist regions in eastern Ukraine have asked Russian President Vladimir Putin for military assistance, said a Kremlin spokesperson on Wednesday, as Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said U.S. intelligence has determined that more military forces have entered the two regions.

Russian President Vladimir Putin “received letters of appeal from the head of the Luhansk People’s Republic Leonid Pasechnik and the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in remarks to state-run media, referring to the names of the breakaway regions.

Don't be so quick to label one side thugs and a minority. And don't be so quick to think Russia is so much worse than the Ukraine government that a majority didn't want the Russians there. We just don't know. This area has changed flags for centuries. Russia troops were already there for years. Russia has bases in that part of Ukraine like we do in Germany for goodness sake.

But since the leftist news won't mention that, I think they are spoiling for war. Don't be trapped by their lies of omission.

And don't think I like Putin or Russia, either. But this is nothing to go to war over.

If the west would just stop its completely unnecessary push to have Ukraine join NATO and get missile sites Russia would just go away. Heck, we should dissolve NATO, there is no reason for it to exist anymore.

Biden has given Putin billions of dollars in new revenue by shuttering American oil independence to allow Russians to raise prices on oil. Not only that but Biden's lame defense against Russian expansionism will now cost thousands of innocent people their lives and a nation its freedom, as well as driving the US Stock Market down and the price of gasoline at the pumps further up.

They were there as a threat. If the talks didn't go the way they wanted, they would invade. I thought the talks would go enough their way that they wouldn't need to make good on their threat.

You are right in the sense that there may be no reason to pray for some rebels against God no matter how high a chair they sit on in business or government.
