[Romans 1:16-17 KJV] 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Jesus revealed the gospel to Paul:

[1 Timothy 1:11 KJV] 11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

Paul preached the cross, the power of God:

[1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV] 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Paul preached Christ, the power of God:

[1 Corinthians 1:24 KJV] 24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

The gospel of Christ went to the Jew first:

[Mark 7:27 KJV] 27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast [it] unto the dogs.

[Acts 3:26 KJV] 26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

The gospel is the power of God for salvation to those who believe. Faith comes by the word of God:

[Romans 10:17 KJV] 17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Paul cited the prophet Habakkuk in regard to faith:

[Habakkuk 2:4 KJV] 4 Behold, his soul [which] is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Paul fully applied and explained the law and the prophets. Paul revealed it has always been by faith.
