I have not heard of anyone that believes in the Reformed doctrines that actually knows what sovereignty is.
OK, I'll bite. Rather than tease, please define the term.
It is not about defining the term, it is about dealing with the mindset that produces this kind of remark: "The sovereignty of God is very different from human sovereignty."
The sovereignty of God is very different from human sovereignty.
By claiming, "The sovereignty of God is very different from human sovereignty," you (and other Reformed/Calvinists) are clearly not referring to a difference of scope, but a concept so fundamentally different than "sovereignty" that it should have its own word.
