RSF: Swinging with Dinos & Clams

This is the show from Friday November 12th, 2010.

BEST QUOTES OF THE SHOW:
This idea of going from simple to complex in the fossil record was totally overturned on its head by the Cambrian explosion. You find all these major body plans appearing suddenly in the fossil record. Now, does that sound like an evolutionary perspective or a creationist perspective?
Because of the ways [evolutionists] find fossils in some of these layers, they say, "Well, this layer on top is older than this one on the bottom." Even though it's hundreds of square miles and no evidence that the one slid over the other. None. Except their evolutionary framework would be dealt a death-blow if they admitted the layer on top was younger than the layer on the bottom which they couldn't admit.

(See a BEL listener who initially compared Bob to Benny Hinn until...) The BEL show was on 12-11-08;
- Michael Shermer, an editor with Scientific American and the Skeptic Society who in in this famous 73-second excerpt on BEL denied that the sun is a light, illustrating that it's tough debating atheists when they're hesitant to admit to even the most obvious common ground. 8-28-03

Post-show note: Bob mentioned a DVD, Raising the Allosaur, about a homeschool family who has the world's largest allosaur skull. There's a notice on Vision Forum's website about a related controversy.
