In a thread someone made a comment about someone else voting for Clinton (Hillary) and being proud of it. It got me thinking.
I voted for Clinton over Trump but I wouldn't say I was proud of it. If she wasn't going against Trump I probably would have voted for Gary Johnson again.
I'm not sure I can think of anyone I've been proud to vote for. Ron Paul is probably the closest. I was genuinely excited about him even though I knew he had no shot. And that excitement wasn't even because I supported everything about Paul but I liked some of what he stood for and I liked going for someone out of the two-party establishment. I know he ran as a Republican in at least one primary season but he isn't really a standard R and he didn't make it but I voted for him in the general anyway.
Gary Johnson might be another possibility for similar reasons.
So.....who have you been PROUD to vote for and why?
