So these guys go to Muslim festivals and demonstrate there, hoping to find some hotheads who will toss stuff at them, thereby becoming martyrs.

O.K., one bunny trail, since it helps put a finer point on it:

Didn't the Obama Administration call the "Arab Spring" a democratic movement?

People rising up and overthrowing a tyranny? Yeah, I guess so. Americans are now admired and liked in Libya.

The 57-year-old airline pilot waved the big fluttering fabric with both arms, and rallygoers smiled and flashed the V for victory sign at the sight of Old Glory.

"Libyans love America," Keish explained as he cut through a boisterous crowd that numbered in the tens of thousands. "They love the flag because it stands for freedom and democracy — exactly what they want for Libya."

In a region where America is often mistrusted and resented, rebel-held eastern Libya stands out as an island of pro-American sentiment. The ragtag forces that drove out Moammar Kadafi's security forces in February credit U.S. and NATO warplanes for rescuing Benghazi from a government counterattack in March.

Libyans in general welcome close ties with the United States both now and in the past decades. Such an attitude will soon be boosted by the reopening of the Consular Section of the American embassy in Tripoli on August 27. In a special message to the Libyan people the US Ambassador says: “Ahlan wa sahlan,” You are welcome in America:

The US Ambassador said that Libyans and Americans share a bright future together, adding that since returning to Libya as Ambassador in May 2012, one of the most rewarding aspects of his work has been to meet so many Libyans who welcome close ties with the United States. “And now we can add one more area to our deepening partnership”, he said.

Mr Christopher Stevens went on to announce that the US Embassy in Tripoli will reopen its Consular Section on Monday, August 27. It will offer a full range of services, including nonimmigrant visas for travel to the United States and services to American citizens who reside in Libya. He aid that Libyans may begin scheduling visa interviews using our simple, online process that you can find on the visa section’s website at http://libya.usembassy.gov/visas.html

I can see where that would upset you. Now let's talk about the issue:

[‘Allahu Akbar’: Shock Video Shows Muslims Allegedly ‘Stoning’ Christian Protesters in Michigan] "In a video posted by Gateway Pundit early this morning, protesters were depicted as being battered by a constant hail of thrown debris, including water bottles and possibly even stones. Skip to nine minutes into the following video to see the “stoning” portion where large, grey projectiles that look very much like rocks are tossed into the air at the demonstrators as the crowd screams “Allahu Akbar” and closes in..." 1) If you referred to me as a dirty yak, I'd probably throw something at you.

2) Do you think that stoning, as in the Bible, say for adulterers, is right? Or not? That's a yes (I think it's right), or no (I don't think it's right.) Which?
