Harvard grad, Bush staff worker,
Upon her first House election in 2014, Stefanik, then aged 30, became the youngest woman ever elected to Congress at the time. She is the youngest Republican woman ever elected to Congress.

A three term Representative, accomplished, intelligent, with a record of taking on roles of responsibility, she gets little attention from the MSM who prefer the retarded antics of that other female Representative from my state, the retarded embarrassment AOC.

A google search of "Stefanik" gives: About 86,100 results (0.27 seconds)

"Ocasio-Cortez": About 4,010,000 results (0.30 seconds)

"retard Ocasio-Cortez": About 123,000 results (0.41 seconds)

She represents a unique district in New York - the biggest by area, the least densely populated. And the most impoverished, I think. And the most beautiful - most of the Adirondacks and Thousand Islands areas.

And one of the strongest conservative/Republican!

Ocasio-Cortez claimed, “The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change.” The Inside Climate News article, after running cover for Ocasio-Cortez by saying the socialist member of Congress really meant we have 12 years to take meaningful action on climate change to avoid worst-case scenarios, claims the climate may have already reached dangerous tipping points, including passing a point of no return for Greenland and West Antarctic ice sheets to recover to their previous extent.

Somehow, the thought that Greenland and Antarctica may not regain the very small relative amount of ice they may have lost in the past decade or so doesn’t strike us as a catastrophic tipping point. Yet that very thought appears to keep Ocasio-Cortez from sleeping at night.

Add Inside Climate News to the Sleepless in Greenland crew. In addition to claiming ice growth in Greenland and West Antarctica may have already passed tipping points, the article claims other tipping points are likely to occur in less than 11 years.

So, Ocasio-Cortez was actually being conservative when she said the world will end in 12 years. Look for future claims – coming soon to a theater near you – that we have only five years, three years, or even just one year before the world will end. Heck, the world may already have ended due to climate change.

UPDATE:

Rep. Elise Stefanik building support to succeed Liz Cheney in GOP leadership: sources

Rep. Elise Stefanik, a rising star in the Republican Party, is making calls and building support among her colleagues to become the next House GOP conference chair, several sources have told Fox News.

Stefanik, 36, has emerged as a viable alternative for the No. 3 Republican leadership post should Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., get ousted by her colleagues as soon as next week.

Cheney survived a vote of no confidence in February following her support for the impeachment of former President Donald Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. But since then, Republicans have raised more frustrations about Cheney over her ongoing disagreements with Trump with GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.

Cheney, 54, has stood by her impeachment vote regarding the Capitol riot and said she wouldn't support Trump again if he ran for president again in 2024.

Republicans are eyeing another vote on their conference chair after Congress returns to Washington, D.C., next week. What's different about this potential vote is that there's a formidable successor eying the job, according to one Republican.

"I suspect that within the next two weeks Elise Stefanik will be our conference chair," Rep. Lance Gooden, R-Texas, told Fox News Tuesday.

The press loves "antics", which she doesn't supply. President Trump supplied antics, and got plenty of press coverage for that.

A top House Republican is accusing New York education officials of using federal pandemic-relief funds to promote “critical race theory” in public schools across the state.
Upstate Congresswoman Elise Stefanik recently fired off a letter to state Education Commissioner Betty Rosa demanding a “complete accounting” of how her department is spending the billions of dollars it received in COVID-19 emergency funding — including for any CRT-related instruction.
