New Trump mantra: Paint the wall!

Trump continues to enjoy widespread popular support among Americans who love America, driving the democrats insane.

Amid the other curiosities of former President Donald Trump’s recent visit to the border was his peculiar complaint about the border wall: President Biden is refusing to paint it.
Not only did Mr. Biden order a halt to any new construction, but his border wall pause has also blocked maintenance like covering some of the wall with a protective coating that the Trump administration discovered preserves the steel, extending its lifetime.
“They’ve got to get a coat of paint on the wall,” Mr. Trump said during his border trip with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. “Believe it or not, it does rust. Maybe that’s what they like — let it rust, let it rot.”

Human trafficking? Drug trafficking? Rape? Child abuse, endangerment, and neglect? An influx of terrorists, gang members, felons, and those sick with covid? Humanitarian crises of gargantuan proportions?

Democrats do not see those things as issues of concern. What democrats do fear are border walls that will cut down on these terrible human tragedies.

Senate Democrats on Wednesday killed an amendment to President Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that would have blocked the federal government from canceling contracts for the construction of a physical barrier on the U.S.-Mexico border.
In a 49-48 vote, lawmakers rejected the proposal offered by Sen. Ron Johnson, Wisconsin Republican and a former chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
“My amendment is very common sense. It just says ‘Complete the wall that we’ve already contracted for.’ The dollars will be spent regardless. The dollars will be completely wasted and no wall built whatsoever,” said Mr. Johnson. “The American taxpayer needs to understand they will be on the hook for billions of dollars, tens of thousands of tons of steel that’s already been produced, all that waste.”
Mr. Johnson argued the amendment was needed because “securing the border has become a partisan issue.”
Since taking office, the White House has been pressured by progressives and immigrant-rights groups to end border wall construction. Last month, Mr. Biden gave in to the demands, canceling two border wall contracts in Texas.

As the saying goes, "there is no cure for stupid".

The world is laughing at you hicks.
Who is the world laughing at, the hicks who see the humanitarian crisis at the border and fuss about it or the hicks who don't see the crisis at the border and don't care if there is a crisis?

No, only the leftist Western mainstream media and those tards who listen to them.

India isn't paying any attention to this.
China isn't paying any attention to this.
Africa isn't paying any attention to this.

The ones ignoring the humanitarian crisis are the democrat morons and assorted leftist anarchists. Americans with good sense see the crisis as horrific and inexcusable.

Another perspective to consider is that before covid half of the world was living on less than $5.50 a day.

When you're living that close to the bone you don't really care what's happening on the other side of the world.

What you're so concerned about, e4e is a first world phenomenon. It's your white privilege expressing itself.

7000 people, mostly infants and children, die every single day in India from starvation.

Every single day.

I seriously doubt they have any desire to know about the ridiculous things that you obsess about.

Not only is covid and its variants causing relatively few deaths compared to the thousands of Americans who die every day from one cause or another, corrupted US and world leaders are using artificially inflamed covid fears to force America into union with world nations in joint efforts to solve issues like global warming, racism, false religion, and poverty. That is what the Paris Accords are all about and why Trump got the US out of the accords and Biden got us back in. American wealth is o the chopping block. Americans will be fired to forfeit trillions of dollars of their 'hoarded wealth' to planers who intend to use the money to address poverty in poor nations.

Two weeks of climate talks in Bonn ended last week without agreement on a draft negotiating text, the Washington Post reports. Developing countries demanded to know when the US$100-billion package promised to them as part of the Paris climate agreement would be forthcoming. Hopefully, the answer will be “never” and that will lead to the end of the deal.
Paris is a climate fairy tale. It has always been more about money and politics than the environment. Last year, U.S. President Donald Trump wisely announced that America would withdraw. For developed nations who still believe Paris is a viable plan, the prospect of a massive transfer of wealth under the guise of carbon reductions must seem less attractive without the U.S. to help foot the bill. Still, other world leaders seem irrationally committed to pursuing the real objectives of Paris: wealth redistribution, virtue signalling and globalist governance.

Since Donald Trump took office as president, the image of the United States has suffered across many regions of the globe. As a new 13-nation Pew Research Center survey illustrates, America’s reputation has declined further over the past year among many key allies and partners. In several countries, the share of the public with a favorable view of the U.S. is as low as it has been at any point since the Center began polling on this topic nearly two decades ago.

And by the way, how is that list of posts where I have lied coming? Surely you would claim I was a liar without some actual evidence.

What a silly argument - since "relatively few deaths" are occurring, let's be idiots and do nothing to stop those deaths.

I take it you approve of the democrat open borders policy in violation of long-standing federal laws and in spite of the horrific humanitarian crisis the bad policy has created at the US southern border?
Liar.

Democrats in the main do not favour open borders.

America's reputation was already in decline among those who hate western nations for honoring God, capitalism, prosperity, and the like. The leftist American media and wicked democrats in power for the money also hate western policies of capitalism and honoring God.

Come on, man - do the math. 4.3 million are dead worldwide from Covid in about 500 days.

That is about 8500 a day.

More than the 7000 infant and children who die in India from starvation.

We do not have to choose between responding to covid and these other problems.

You guys are going to be on the wrong side of history, and I suspect you know it all too well.
