Hey you guys. I would like to get into the fray here too.

But

What programs are good to use to make a cool avatar, like one that has animation and text insertion and such?

Knight,
I've got a big batch of Alex Ross DC avatars ready to go. Where should I send them?

I'm all about this! I'll get to cranking some avatars out for ya.

1way, you might want to check out The Gimp here:
http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/

Its a great Photoshop-like program, and it's free (and very powerful).

If you have a few hundred bucks and plan on making a lot of graphics for print and the web, you might want to check out Photoshop... it's pretty expensive though.

Edit:
You might have an easier time downloading 'WinGimp' here:
http://www.wingimp.org/

Hey, :knight:, I'm thinking of trying to make a set, too, but I have a few questions. First of all, would it be all right if I used the red bar in them, like the ones that are under your avatars? Second, where and how would I send them? Thanks! :D

Sure you can use a "red bar".

Make sure they are 100x100 pixels and are in .gif or .jpg format.

E-mail them to me at knight@theologyonline.com

Good Knight ,

It looks like you have alot of Spiffy Avatars already

in your collection .

I don't know if I could make Avatars like you want.

Because, I am just too humble to put up an Avatar that would

draw attention to myself.

:shut:
