James 1:19

Luke 12:15

36 "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
37 "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

14 "And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive;

Rom 10:17
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
2 Tim 2:23
23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife.
1 Cor 5:7
7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
1 Cor 5:8
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

XXX You must learn to listen for the Holy Spirit. He is the only guarantee in the whole bible. He only quotes verses. If your obeying the Holy Spirit nothing can condemn you. You must put the verses in your conscience in order for the Holy Spirit to bring them to remembrance. With them you have a guarantee from God. Without them you have a theology. Theology is spiritual theory, and theory is guessing.
