NEW TESTAMENT LAW OF CHRIST(LOVE)

Heb 10:19-21
19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
21 and having a High Priest over the house of God,
Heb 7:28
28 For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.
Rom 3:21
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
Matt 19:30
30 "But many who are first will be last, and the last first.
Luke 16:16
16 "The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.
Matt 11:12-13
12 "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
13 "For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
Matt 5:17
17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
Heb 7:12

Gal 2:21
21 "I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."

Rom 8:3-4
3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,
4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Rom 8:1-2

Rom 13:8
8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
Gal 5:14
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

9 "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
Heb 8:13
13 In that He says, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

xxx Jesus fulfilled the old testament law and shows us how to fulfill it to. The old testament law is still in affect on those who have not followed Jesus example. Love is the fulfillment of the old testament. And if one can learn what love is they also can follow Jesus' example by fulfilling the law. Love is to suffer wrongfully but do it willingly. The new testament in Christ is bear one anothers burdens. Everyone who is not submitting to the law of Christ is still under the old testament law of sin and death.

Luke 23:34-37
34 Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." And they divided His garments and cast lots.
35 And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God."
36 The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine,
37 and saying, "If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself."

Acts 7:59-60
59 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."
60 Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not charge them with this sin." And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Are you nuts? No one can keep the commandments. Do you love your neighbor as yourself? Do you give when someone asks of you? Do you love your enemies and bless them that curse you?

Of course you don't. That is why you are a hypocrite.

It is just lame excuse to disgrace Jesus' noble teachings. Just because you are not willing or cannot does not have right to spread lies.

[Gal 5:24

I don't know where you have written about what you have seen.

But I believe that Galatians 5:24 means to die to self. To be put to death by the Spirit. And by saying to be put to death I mean this, If we obey the law it puts us to death, meaning by obeying it we stop doing things wrong and the lusts and works of our flesh start dying. But the law doesn't bring us life. We get that through Jesus.

Once we hear the word of God and believe and have true faith and we are born of God, after we have been given the Holy Spirit, then he starts guiding us and teaching us and we are being put to death by him. We start turning from sin and the works of the flesh to do the will of God. Thus we die to self. But the laws doesn't bring life, we need the Spirit for that, and the way is Christ Jesus.

Once we truly believe and obey his teachings, then God in his time will bless us with the Spirit who will help us to overcome our flesh. The law brings death, but the Spirit puts to death and brings life, thus we don't need to follow the letter of the law because the laws of God are put in our hearts and minds by the Spirit through Christ Jesus, and as we grow in God by the power of the Spirit, the righteousness of Christ grows within us and our hearts and lives should be becoming more and more like that of Jesus, as our hearts and minds are changed to be more like his. And if we truly obey the two greatest commandments, which is to love our lord God with all our heart, mind and soul and our neighbour as ourselves, then by these, we should be obeying Gods laws. And if we truly follow Christ Jesus then through him by the power of the Spirit we can start to overcome this world and the works of the flesh.

That's what I believe to be the truth. And Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and the only way to the father is through him, Christ Jesus has showed us how to live right before God, he's our perfect example to follow.

Yes squeaky, is not all done for us, and Jesus hasn't done it all for us either, he's lived it out, and bore witness to the truth, preached the gospel and showed us a new and living way to live before God, and those who truly follow him are to live it out and obey God also. That's why he was our perfect example to follow. And once we turn from our sin, through faith by the grace of God, Christ by the Spirit will strengthen us and help us to overcome. But we have to start to turn from sin and do Gods will. It's not all done for us.

We are blessed in that the Spirit shows us our sins, and guides us in the truth, it's up to us then to stop doing them, turn from the works of the flesh and obey the living God.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

Romans 1:5

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Romans 6:17

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Romans 10:16-17

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God
