ECT Is the OT entitled to equal time?

Yes, we use the OT as background for the NT, but we don't pretend that the OT came after the NT. Rather that the NT came after and culminates things and matures them. The age of the child trainer or governess is over, Gal 4.

Israel itself no longer exists for its own sake. It is to be part of a mission to the nations, says the NT, built upon Isaiah, and the Genesis promises. Once this world-wide effort is underway, there is no need to revert back and actually, no easy way to do so.

There are people back there who lived under the Old Covenant, and they were given promises by God.
They died before the New Covenant.

God will honor his promises to them.

Funny how that is never mentioned in the NT. The fulfillment of all promises to the fathers is the gift of the resurrection of Christ which is the solid proof of justification for us, Acts 13. But go on, keep quoting or alluding to those phantom passages.

And remember Heb 8:8, 13, and 10:9. You know, when Christ was meant all along, there is nothing being replaced, really.

It's not funny at all.
Why would it be?

The "NT" isn't about them.

It is the good news for all people; it is peace on earth to men of good will. where have you been? The NT does not do 2P2P, nor does the Bible. The NT is the resolution of theological questions, not 19th century theories.

How do people who died before Christ came get into the New Covenant?

Hi and it is beacause they will be in THE NEW COVENANT or why do Abraham , Isaac and Jacob be in the Kingdom of HeAVEN which is the Millennium in Matt 8:11 ??

The Lamb slain before the foundation of the world and faith in the promise of God in Christ. Jesus' blood sacrifice covered all sin past, present, future. Belief in the promise of Christ. God called them saints, His holy ones in the OT and are included in the numbers of the saved in the NT. The NT refers to it as the faith of Abraham and all those in Christ - regardless if they are Jew or Gentile - are the children of Abe because of their faith in Christ. Heb 11 is a good chapter on it as is Gal 3 :)

They were never given the choice to accept or reject Jesus Christ.
All they knew was what God told them to do.

They still had a choice to believe the promise and that is all that mattered before Christ came.

Yep...

Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 11:14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Proof is Acts 13? Seriously?

45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul. 46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

That idiot Ben Masada started a thread on the new Covenant. Go read it. Many things he says through his blinder is absolutely correct.

You should really get completely familiar with the sermon before you use your keyboard. You're looking at something quite a bit after the sermon. Find the climax of the sermon.

I am showing the reaction and the status of Israel. They are not in their covenant.

All they knew was what God told them to do.

Not true.

They were to do while also believing the Law and the Prophets concerning a coming Messiah and New Covenant.

John 5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
