Is Jesus a demigod?

I have heard some people express that Jesus is a demigod. Reach these people with the gospel, the truth of God's Word the Bible.

Jesus is not a being with partial or lesser divine status.
Jesus is not a minor deity.

Jesus is the offspring of a god and a mortal, which by definition makes Him a demigod.
Jesus is a mortal raised to divine status but Jesus already had divine status before giving it up to become a mortal, so this does not count.

God is the Father of Jesus and Mary (a mortal woman) was the mother.

Luke 1:30-33
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.​
