I actually have an answer to it. The reason is that homosexuality is something that God made a crime in his perfect law, while smoking cigarettes is something that is unhealthy and potentially addictive but that God never made a crime in his perfect law.

But if you're going to do that, you'd have to admit that legalizing something doesn't necessarily mean condoning it, and you'd have to get more nuanced with your argumentation. I don't think that's what you want.

Homosexuality is something God abhors, because it's a perverse sexual act that goes against human nature and what He designed when it comes to human sexuality (one man, one woman, married for life).

But if you're going to do that, you'd have to admit that legalizing something doesn't necessarily mean condoning it, and you'd have to get more nuanced with your argumentation. I don't think that's what you want.

I see that you're still naive as before and don't acknowledge that the penalties that come with breaking civil laws (be it a fine, jail time or the ultimate penalty of death) means that society doesn't approve of that behavior.
