He that believeth not is condemned already !

Jn 3:18

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Most people think that verse is teaching or saying that if one doesn't believe on the name of Christ that it results in them being condemned for it, condemned for unbelief. However thats not true, what it does say and mean is that unbelief/not believing on the name of Christ is the consequence of being already condemned. That is they are condemned by Gods Law for their sins since Christ wasn't their surety, and that being the case, they're never given the gift of Faith via the new birth, which Faith receives the Gospel testimony that Christ died for them, and took their condemnation upon Himself as their surety ! So unbelief is a symptom of being condemned by God for your sins. Believing on the name of Christ is a evidence that one wasn't condemned by God, because of Christ ! Rom 8:33-34

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Its a given therefore that those who are condemned already cant be anyone Christ died for, simply because those whom He died for are reconciled to God by His death while they are enemies/unbelievers Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

You are a liar and a fool.

Christ died for all, but all do not believe so all will not be saved. But He still died for all. Christ dying for sin is not the immediate instrument by which the lost are saved;

"But if Christ died for ALL, why aren't ALL saved? Huh? HUH?" i hear you whining.

Because if that were true, faith would be unnecessary as all would be saved automatically. The instrument by which God saves the lost is their faith in His death and resurrection in their place. That is why He can justly condemn those who will not believe.

Amen to parts 1 and 2 !

It's impossible for those whom Christ died for their sins Eph. 1:4-7, God's Elect Rom. 8:1, 33-34, as their Surety Heb. 7:22, to be under condemnation even while unbelievers, because their [His Sheep] sins and condemnation were laid to His Charge Is.53:6 from Everlasting, even while being His enemies Rom. 5:10, which included the sin of unbelief.

However, those that believeth not [non elect] are condemned already because Christ never propitiated God's Wrath on their behalf Mat. 13:38-40.

John 3:18
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

And the mere act of believing that an unregenerate man does with his own mind is merely a work [ergon] of the flesh that cannot please God Rom. 8:8.

Those Christ died for, shed His Blood for can't be them who are condemned already in Jn 3:18 because Christ Blood made peace with God for them Col 1:20

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Those Christ died for are reconciled to God while enemies Rom 5:10 and He is at Peace with them through the Blood of Christ !

Amen, and the proof that those Christ died for are in a permanent state of peace with God through the Blood of His Cross, is that they will be given Faith in New Birth to believe it Gal. 5:22 because for them it's already an established fact Rom. 5:10.
