ECT Have God's commands changed?

Do you believe God's commands have changed?

If so, why? If not, why not? Has anything changed with (in regard to) Jesus?

Consider that Jesus did not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets and that heaven and earth have not passed away.

Consider that a change of priesthood (from Levitical to Jesus' priesthood) means a change in law. What does this mean in light of God's commands though?

And consider that God's commands, or the Law, are eternal.

Not according to Paul.

"What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator." (Paul)

This doesn't say anything about the Law or God's commands not being eternal.

"For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity."

It is speaking of the enmity, but if you insist it is the law of commandments contained in ordinances, what would those ordinances be? Would it only be that which is against us? Because there is nothing wrong with obeying God and observing or following His commands.

Yes, they have changed, not the basic concepts, but the practical side of them

The Law.
Because there is nothing wrong with obeying God and observing or following His commands.
Yes, there is. First of all, you don't, nor can you. If you break one, you have broken them all.

I don't wear tzit-tzit. But the fact that I am a sinner (that I have sinned sometime in my life) is different living out God's truth and doing what God wants and requires of us. To obey God is not sin. If you give the reason that you don't obey God because you can't that means you are not saved. Those who are saved can obey God. Now how and in what way? If you have not experienced this I would venture to say you are unsaved.

contained in ordinances = what?

God's Law is eternal, never changes, and stays the same.
"For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law."

Where does the Bible say that the Law is eternal?

What law do you believe has changed, if you do?
"But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels. For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious."

"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."

Those who are saved HAVE obeyed God.

You are demon possessed. You know not God, and preach a false gospel. Paul says that you are to be accursed.

A covenant is different from a command. What about this?

Leviticus 24:8 NASB - "Every sabbath day he shall set it in order before the LORD continually; it is an everlasting covenant for the sons of Israel.

And then for example and discussion we have the word perpetual:

Exodus 27:21 NASB - "In the tent of meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the LORD; it shall be a perpetual statute throughout their generations for the sons of Israel.

Exodus 29:9 NASB - "You shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and bind caps on them, and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute. So you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.

Exodus 31:16 NASB - 'So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.'

Exodus 40:15 NASB - and you shall anoint them even as you have anointed their father, that they may minister as priests to Me; and their anointing will qualify them for a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations."

I don't have the words Law and eternal in one verse.

A couple of verses with everlasting and law in them are these.

1 Chronicles 16:17 KJV - And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

Psalm 105:10 KJV - And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:

Now Jacob was before the Law (of Moses).

You do not obey the gospel?

Those who have the Holy Spirit obey. You implied obedience to God is impossible.
