God Did It? Nonsense!

P.Z.Meyers is a leading promoter of the atheist belief system. He says that because you Christians are unable to answer basic questions; atheism is the end result.

God's Word tells us to "always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect
God's Word tells us." So..... lets see if Christians can respond to P.Z.Meyers statement

3. Question / Statement 3
...in fact, assuming that the world is a product of natural, undirected processes has a far better track record of generating useful answers.

Did somebody hijack your account? You're starting a thread for every question of PZ Meyers?
Question 3 is not a fact -

"How did God do it?" is the question we should be answering.

There are obvious and clear designs in nature. Patterns everywhere... Saying this happened without direction is a fool's answer.

Atheist claim: fact, assuming that the world is a product of natural, undirected processes has a far better track record of generating useful answers.

P.Z.Meyers is a snake oil salesman. *Unfortunately many young people are buying what he is selling, without using their heads. Meyers claim is false and dishonest.

Assuming that the world is a product of natural undirected processes has never resulted in a single advancement in medicine, nor a single new technology. *

What has generated useful answers...and in fact generated most fields of modern medicine is a belief in the Creator God of the Bible. As one famous evolutionist admitted *"The philosophy of experimental science … began its discoveries and made use of its methods in the faith, not the knowledge, that it was dealing with a rational universe controlled by a creator who did not act upon whim nor interfere with the forces He had set in operation… It is surely one of the curious paradoxes of history that science, which professionally has little to do with faith, owes its origins to an act of faith that the universe can be rationally interpreted, and that science today is sustained by that assumption."*Loren Eiseley, anthropologist.*

Another thing to consider is to compare atheist / communist regimes against nations with a strong Christian influence. *Take a look at North Korea and compare it to South Korea. North Koreans suffer while their neigbors have one of the highest standards of living in the world. Or, we can compare the two main players in the cold war, USA vs the Soviet Union. *We can look at the scientific advancements made by West Germany against East Germany. *Or we can consider the track record of of atheist regimes like Pol Pots killing fiels in Cambodia....or, the havoc caused by the 'cultural revolution' in China.....or Stalin's Russia.

Contrary to P.Z.Meyer...atheism has hindered science and harmed people. Christianity played a major part in education and the founding of many of the Great universities around the world. Christianity played a major role in the founding of modern science. Christianity has played a major role in medicine around the world and founding of many of the Great hospitals. And Christianity has played a role in some of the worlds geeat art and music. And Christianity.... the belief in Jesus as our savior, *provides hope for*the brokenhearted,
*freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners. Is.61:1*

God doesn't need to consistently direct intended order, unless He imperfectly made the universe from the start.

This is sort of the problem with the atheist vs theist debate as far as nature is concerned.

Many believe universe is a mathematical impossibility. Many physicists believe in God. Until the atheists come up with facts on the making of the universe, I will believe the God is the creator.

Yup... They may not yet believe in the God of the Bible, but admit the evidence points to a super intelligence.
Examples
Fred Hoyle (British astrophysicist): "A common sense interpretation of the facts suggests that a superintellect has monkeyed with physics, as well as with chemistry and biology, and that there are no blind forces worth speaking about in nature. The numbers one calculates from the facts seem to me so overwhelming as to put this conclusion almost beyond question."
George Ellis (British astrophysicist): "Amazing fine tuning occurs in the laws that make this [complexity] possible. Realization of the complexity of what is accomplished makes it very difficult not to use the word 'miraculous' without taking a stand as to the ontological status of the word."
Paul Davies (British astrophysicist): "There is for me powerful evidence that there is something going on behind it all....It seems as though somebody has fine-tuned nature’s numbers to make the Universe....The impression of design is overwhelming".
Paul Davies "The laws [of physics] ... seem to be the product of exceedingly ingenious design... The universe must have a purpose".

And there are also a number of physicists who proclaim the evidence supports the God of the Bible. Dr. Jim Mason, Nuclear physicist “I have become increasingly amazed at how comprehensive and yet internally consistent the Bible and Christianity are. I spent most of my working career as a System Engineer developing complex and sophisticated defence electronic systems. Consequently, I have come to think of the Bible and Christianity as the perfect system.”
