GT, once you reject Paul's Gospel, there's no other offer from God in this, "Dispensation of Grace!" Talk with Heir now, I'll just listen.

JESUS came with GRACE.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The old law was a covenant and to be in that covenant---one had to be circumcised and do all the ceremonial works, just to be able to go to the temple to worship God.

When Jesus walked the earth, he gave the Way to the new law...it is the old law with some changes. When Jesus died on the cross, he shed his blood for the covenant.

God did not nail obeying Him to the cross.

Jesus did not do away with all the things he said while on earth! Jesus' words are full of LIFE AND SPIRIT.
Jesus' words stand forever.
It means what it says and it says "all things which are written in the book of the law".

You are trying to make yourself perfect by the flesh!

Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

You have placed yourself under the curse!

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

do you have any interest in why there would be two messages?

there must be a reason

has anyone suggest one?

The gospel which was preached to the Jews is the truth that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. The Jews had the OT and therefore knew what to look for when the Messiah appeared. And the Lord Jesus fulfilled those things when He appeared to the Jews.

On the other hand, few Gentiles knew the OT Scriptures so a different approach was needed. So their sinfulness was preached as well as the fact that the Lord Jesus died for our sins.

Yes, grace and truth came by Jesus Christ, yet He preached obedience to the law (Matthew 5:17-19 KJV, Matthew 23:1-3 KJV)! God gave the dispensation of the grace of God to Paul to usward (Ephesians 3:1-6 KJV).

Approve the things that are excellent!

It means what it says and it says "all things which are written in the book of the law".

Jesus gave the NEW LAW.

True believers uphold the law. See Romans 3:31.

We are not without a law.

We are no longer UNDER the law, we have the law written on our hearts and minds, see Hebrews 10:16.

There was a change to that old law, see Hebrews 7:12.

That changed old law is our new law.

All those who are saved have to obey the law, the new law, the new law is in the New Covenant.

The new law is the law of the Spirit, see Romans 8:2, the perfect law, see James 1:25.

It is the law that gives freedom, see James 2:12.

It is the LAW that requires faith, see Romans 3:27.

It is the law of Christ, see 1 Corinthians 9:21, and Galatians 6:2.

You are trying to make yourself perfect by the flesh!

Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

You have placed yourself under the curse!

If I would have been circumcised, adhered to the dietary laws, observed special days, did various external washings and gave animal sacrifices---THEN I would have put myself under the law!

NO ONE IS CURSED FOR OBEYING JESUS.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Paul was NOT rebuking the people of Galatia for OBEYING JESUS.
Paul rebuked them for trying to make themselves clean by getting circumcised and observing special days!

The Gentiles knew the Jews did not associate with them and that they were unclean!

There isn't a different message!

The Gentiles were dead in their sins because they did not clean themselves with the ceremonial works...they were dead in their sins and the UN circumcision of their flesh.

Colossians 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,

Paul is explaining to GENTILES that Jesus saved them and did not make them get circumcised before he saved them.

GT, name one law that the gentiles had to obey throughout the Old Testament?

The Gentiles could have converted and obeyed the old law with the ceremonial works. However, they did not, and that is why they were SEPARATE and WITHOUT God.

Ephesians 2:12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.
