Fiona Hill: "The president was trying to stage a coup"

I think that they are reaping large profits at a time when consumers are suffering.

Prove me wrong.
They are not making as much profit as leftists dishonestly claim. Besides that, public schools and municipalities are heavily invested in businesses like oil companies, and stripping the companies of profits not only endangers the viability of the businesses but also damages the financial futures of cities and schools.

Then why are you whining about high prices?
Oil companies have always made profits if they survived through the years, but they did not jack up their prices after Biden took office. The increase in prices can only be explained by a decrease in availability caused by leftist democrat opposition to fuels. When Biden blames the oil companies for price increases he is responsible for he is lying and deceiving like a devil.

Oil prices are set by the global market, global demand, and global events--all of which you are incapable of understanding. You are clueless.

Nope. By committees and collusion. Remember how you were screaming a minute ago about big corporations making profits "at the expense of consumers"?

1. I'm not sure of any other way to make a profit other than by people paying for a company's product.
2. Inflation does the opposite of helping to increase profit.
3. Big companies are indeed engaged in immoral activity, as you are seeking to imply, but they do it by colluding with politicians, not because — as you were just screeching — normal business practice is bad.

By throttling back American energy production, foreign oil producers were free to raise prices. If you want to blame foreign oil companies for price gouging you can do that but you should still admit Biden gave them the reduced competition that allowed them to do that.

Explain to us how are corporations making large profits at a time when inflation is so high.
In an inflationary market, every business must raise prices to remain profitable. When costs of raw materials rise because of inflation, costs of goods and services must also rise if businesses hope to remain in business.
