Exploring Jesus's Appearance in His Kingdom

Here is a starting point for a fun exploration of what our Risen Lord's physical appearance will be when we see him in his kingdom. I'm sure lots of us have our ideas.
Mine begins with a prayer prayed by Jesus to The Father in the presence of his followers.

John 17:1,4,5 (the whole prayer is wonderful but these three verses are apropos to the topic)
1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, "Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify you me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was."

Watch what becomes clear in verse 5 when I use a more modern vocabulary instead of KJE in order to say the same thing.
... glorify you me with the glory which I shared with you before the world was!

Now the phrase (glorify you me with thine own self) means a lot more.

It seems The eternal WORD of God, who was God and was with God, was to come as the promised Messiah had shared the only ONE presence created before the world was with the Father, who was God, from the time before the world was.

Now this, which is scripture mentioning the promised Son of God, should make more sense to everyone.
Colossians 1:15-17
15 (The WORD of God aka The Promised Son) who is the image of the invisible God, the (image belonging to the Son) firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him (who was the WORD and destined Son of God) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him (as the WORD), and for him (as the Risen Lord):
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Now regarding the prayer Jesus prayed: He, who was the WORD and the Promise, asked of the Father who appeared super-naturally before him, that he have the glory, which he once shared with the Father, back!!!!

I the conclude that the Father God would honor that request from our Lord. Our Lord and The Father LORD is sharing or will share the likeness of that ONE image in the end but not as the presence of ONE God but as two presences. The ONE image, which was created even before the world was, will be seen as two of the God Head.

Do you know that our Lord Jesus will introduce The LORD Father to the Saints when all is done... and we saints will not be harmed by the GLORY of God?

Who can find the verses that tell us our Risen Lord Jesus introduces the one and only potentate, the KING of kings and the Lord of lords ...and who only has immortality and dwells in unapproachable light.

Now, the Lord Jesus, being the one who is doing the introduction, is not the one being introduced to the saints.
Who is this super-natural entity?

I've given you some hints as you do a search.

Does anyone know scripture from the book of Revelation that gives a clue to the appearance of our Risen Lord?

What about places in the OT who describe the Father in the OT? Or does anyone believe there were pre-incarnate images of our promised Lord?

I think this could be fun to explore. No totally right or wrong... maybe just see what we all think. Maybe we will get some things correct.

Who do people think the nazarites/Lords/LORD were who went into Sodom and Gomorrah?
You know, the ones described in Genesis 18 and 19 and then again in Lamentations 4:7.

I'd love to hear other ideas, but most here know I have an opinion to share as well. Love for people reading here to check it out and comment as well.

I have thoughts about your topic as well.
In the beginning was the WORD who was with God and was God.
In the beginning God call forth LIGHT. There is one immortal personage who has been able to dwell within that unapproachable LIGHT. I Tim. 6:15-16

v 15 Which in his times (the times of Lord Jesus) he shall shew , who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords,
16 (The ONE) Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no (mortal) man can approach unto; whom no (mortal) man hath seen, nor can see:

The Messiah/Savior was God and had existed eternally and spiritually with God ... but it was not his form of flesh which was seen within the dangerous LIGHT. It was the Father whose form was seen within that LIGHT. God the Spirit brought forth that LIGHT and created a bodily form (an image) for his personal use. It was a super-natural presence ... and I believe when the glory of God's presence is mentioned it is talking about this extra ordinary image representing The invisible ONE God. With it used like an Emmanuel/Immanuel God came into creation to work among men.

God gave his image a special name and he called it out as he passed by Moses while he was shielded in a rock cleft by the LORD's hand. That name was The LORD, the Lord God. His name forever. Ex. 3:15 and Ex. 33:18-19 - 23.

Well, now that you know God did have an image as stated in Genesis 2 let's see what John and Jesus said about his appearance on Earth.
John said: Jesus was THAT LIGHT ... but he had no divine beauty that anyone would know him as God. He had a fleshly appearance. Yet, Jesus still said: When you have seen me, you have seen the Father. Since the Father's presence was glorious and able to dwell within inapproachable LIGHT Jesus had to have meant that his mortal body looked like the image just with out the super-natural essence.

Now, Jesus prayed a prayer that tells it all. In it Jesus made a request of the Father:

John 17: 3-5
3 And this is life eternal, that they (the people) might know thee the only true God, and (know) Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I (the sent Christ) have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory (of thy presence) which I had (which I shared) with thee before the world was.

IOW, The Father and the Son being God ... the one image God created represented HIM/The invisible Spirit of God.

Jesus asked to have that glory for himself along with the Father when he was finally glorified. I think this is why Revelation 21:23 describes this:
23 And the city (Jerusalem) had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it, For the glory of God did lighten it and the Lamb (also) is the light there of.

I believe God the Father honored the request of God the Son. He got the glorious image he wanted.
