Evangelist Rodney Howard Brown and the Opening of the White House To the Body of Christ?

"Evangelical pastor Rodney Howard-Browne claims a senior Republican lawmaker told him there is a plot in place to “take out” President Trump. "

"He said there is a plot on Capitol Hill to take the president out, I said you mean by impeachment or by indictment – he said no, to take him out, he will be removed suddenly from office,” said Howard-Browne, before adding, “you can read between the lines”.

"Howard-Browne said, before adding that he then told the congressman that “we are going to stop it because we are going to mobilize the body of Christ to pray” to protect this president “who has opened the door [of the White House] to the body of Christ.”

Is the White House now opened to the Body of Christ, since it is mostly dispensationalists who Trump is in contact with? What is Rodney Howard Brown's theology now? Is he not some kind of dispenationalist?

"And certainly one of the most outstanding characteristics of Howard-Browne’s “anointing” and the whole “laughing revival” is that it is so immediately transferable from person to person. Those “anointed” by Howard-Browne can now “anoint” others. And that is what’s happening."

Is Rodney Howard Brown under some influence from the Latter Rain movement of the late forties? Or is he influenced by a theology similar to that of the Latter Rain movement? His holy laughter movement does not appear to come out of sound doctrine.

If so, then, at least in part. the Latter Rain movement was a rebellion against dispensationalism's prophecies of negative outcomes,. though not rejecting its basic starting positions.

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost was seen to be the "former rain" while the "latter rain" was seen to come at this point in time by those in the latter Rain movement within the Pentecostals.

In the "Latter Rain" the "Overcomers" of Revelation 3: 12, etc would receive a large anointing from the Holy Spirit, and have great spiritual power including the ability to heal the sick. Some within the Latter Rain movement began to call the Overcomers "Joel's army," apparently referring to Joel 2: 20, on the removal of the Northern Army, which is a metaphor for the army of false prophets, not the Overcomers who are like the remnant of Christ.

The issue is to what extent is the theology now followed by Rodney Howard Brown false? To what extent is the White House now open to the Body of Christ, after being closed to it for many administrations before that of Trump? The hand of the Lord could be on Trump for some restorations even though the theologies of those close to him who claim to be Christians are false.

Though I agree with much of that post, nevertheless, your own dialectic is as obvious in you as it is in some whom you rightly assert are guilty of same.

And your "hand of the Lord could be on Trump..." system of guessing at, as a supposed understanding of how God works this side of "that which is perfect" is no better :chuckle:

Rom. 5:8
Acts 17:11,12.
