ECT Does anyone here actually hate Roman Catholics as people?

or anyone else for that matter.

I don't.

The time I spent in the RCC had its positive aspects.

I was taught some scripture.

But not enough to fill my hunger and thirst for righteousness.

Matthew 5:6

that was plenty clear to me as early as 2nd or 3rd grade in RCC parochial school

I wanted answers and they were still guessing.

I have plenty of disagreements with the RCC, but we are to do good unto all men

Where do personal issues arise from since we are to love one another?

What does the word of God teach about overcoming issues between people?

This is so childish question.

You ought to know no one hates anyone personally unless if you are insane..

No. I'm a former Roman, and my "biological" family members are all Romans, i.e., lost/blind.

I dig those "fish fries," though.

As many times people resort to name calling instead of scripture,

why would people do that? Because they love, right?

Like men of God like John the B and Jesus Christ and Paul and Jude called people by their characteristics.

Problem I have is that I am not in the same league as John the B, and Jesus Christ and Paul and Jude, are you?

Just because you quote the scripture does not make you right.

Just about everyone quote the scripture.

You did not quote the scripture for this thread topic.

Wearing that stupid hat makes you wrong. Good day to you, sir.

You might want to read my OP again.

There is a reference to Matthew 5:6

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.

I grew up opposite an RC Church and the father was an amazing guy! I still think of him with great fondness over forty years later.
