That God has called you necessitates that you answer His call.

Dear Untellectual,

Well, thank you so much for your kind words. I do really appreciate it. Yes, I feel compelled to do what God directs me to do. I have a choice, but I want to please Him, not myself. So my life is kind of mapped out beforehand. Makes we wonder how it would be otherwise. I think I like it this way instead, after all. You are quite able to hold your own and I'm proud of you for it! God Bless You Tons!!

More verses don't verify verses.

Why can't infallible humans be wrong about God's existence?

Do you also believe that the four gospels were also written by contemporaries and disciples of Jesus?
Yes, Al, disciples of Jesus. Those who knew Him could not help but put down on paper all of the incredible, miraculous things that He could do.

Why is he deemed trustworthy and even infallible?

Oh Alwight, it's because we realize how Great He is since He was born. His birth and death were written 100s of years before He was born. Now we wait with impatient hearts for His next coming. We know that because He said so. He is much more than trust worthy, He is one you could tell every sins you have and He knew it already because He just asks His Father what is the background on this person, and God answers Him, and thus He is faithful, loyal and true to us all.

Adieu, for now!

Scholastic theological opinion seems to disagree with that Michael. Very few people could read or write back then, let alone illiterate fishermen. Hebrew scribes would be the only Jewish people to write things down.
Apart from that the four gospels were apparently written in Greek at different times, some decades after Jesus' death.
In the original Greek they are entitled "The Gospel according to..." by the anonymous authors who don't claim to be that particular person (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John). The Gospels seem more likely to be dramatic reconstructions than anything else, probably by early Greek Christians.

Why is he [Paul] deemed trustworthy and even infallible?

Adieu is more of a last goodbye , isn't it? adios?

Dear Alwight,
If I had a lot to say about something that happened in my life that I want to share with others, I would ask for a ghostwriter. That's what I wanted for me. But, I am not that rich to afford stuff like that. I had to do it myself. It was the hardest thing I've ever written, and I have tried to keep it the best I know how and how truthful it is.

Give me a break. 'Paul here, not Jesus Michael.' Now the claws come out? I'm bummed. How awful. I'm not Jesus Michael and you know it. I've followed Him to this point and not to be in vain.

I deleted a paragraph to you, for your sake. If I were too vicious, like some of yours that you write, I would have not been so kind. The timing is coming when words will not be minced, but every man will blatantly tell the other what he thinks, manners or not. It seems to be the best and easiest way of dealing with each other.

Must close for now. I love you Alwight. I hope that makes a difference. God knows.

Do You Have What It Takes??

Dear Alwight,

WhatEVER you believe is what you're going to choose, so no less making Creationists out of nothing. I have said what I could and your mind stays where it wants. That shows me that you don't want to notice or change your mind. So our minds are stuck with where they want to be. I'm sorry for your lost, because I know where I get my info and you do not. Do you believe in a God that Christians believe in? That's where you're going wrong.

Think Whatever You Want. I am Done With You. Do you really think the only ones I've tried to reach. No, I have tried to reach you all who have chosen Islam, Sunni Muslim, etc. The Light shall fall over all whom it should. Enough said.

Dear Alwight,

I've first got to tell you that I am sorry, and that I was having a bad evening yesterday. I thought you were calling me Jesus Michael, making fun at Jesus and myself. Second, I've got to tell you that John (Jesus' disciple, and also Paul of Tarsus, Jesus' Apostle) were able to write and read. NOTE: Jesus to John: "What thou seest, write in a book." (Rev. 1:11). See Rev. 10:4. "Write them not."

The disciples weren't illiterate. John sent messages to Peter and Paul, and wrote to each of the seven churches. If he wrote them, then they could read them. Not fishermen and savages that could not write or read.

Much Love and Ciao!

Michael

P.S. I did not know about adieu.

Dear Alwight,

I had to update my previous post. I had written something wrong in it about Rev. 1:19, 2:12, 2:18. Please read that. It speaks of Jesus telling John to write what he has seen in a book. Most likely John wrote it in Greek, but possibly Hebrew.

I didn't realise that I could be so inadvertently insulting.
Never mind just a misunderstanding then.;)

I think we can agree that Paul would have been very literate indeed who wrote many things in his own name.

The disciples weren't illiterate. John sent messages to Peter and Paul, and wrote to each of the seven churches. If he wrote them, then they could read them. Not fishermen and savages that could not write or read.

I didn't suggest that any of them were savages, Michael (checks comma), people generally didn't use writing materials in those days or read books because they weren't as available as they are to us, and most people simply didn't read or write.
Scribes could write on scrolls of parchment, or marks put in clay, but that was pretty much it.
The gospels were most probably verbal accounts that early Greek Christians wanted written down for evangelising purposes. The original source is thought to be G.Mark combined with other more general missives known as the "Q Source"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q_source

Much of this is academic theological speculation, not mine, but G.John often is contradictory to the synoptic gospels so I at least won't be taking the Gospels as "gospel" any time soon.

Dear Alwight,

What time is it there? 1230GMT? It is 2:30am here. Well, I'm very sorry about what happened and I do hope you'll forgive me. Alwight, I take it that you don't have a Bible? It is written in black and white that the Lord told John of Patmos (His disciple John who had been banished to the Isle of Patmos) to write the book of Revelation. I suppose he wrote it in Greek. Perhaps it was an extremely long letter.

Well, I am going to hit the sack now. Can barely keep my eyes open. You have a wonderful day today and I'll talk with you when I get back on today.

Adios,

Michael

No problem.
Taking 2 hours off your estimate is about right for the time here, Michael.
I have Lord of the Rings in 3 books, not that something in writing makes it true. :nono:

Dear Alwight,

But Al, your books are fiction and the Bible is nonfiction. So that doesn't work. How are you doing 2nite?? Everything is going well here. Does your Mom's grass need mowing or did you sell the house and move her. My memory sometimes is not so good. Did you say she was 90?? Are you still getting exercise on your bike, or are you tired of it?? I've been taking Forskolin pills and Keybiotics pills. Also Garcinia Cambogia pills. And Green Bean Coffee pills. I just started on the Forkskolin pills and the Keybiotics. I am keeping positive about them to lose some weight. Am eating berries as well (Blackberries and raspberries, and strawberries). No Cool Whip or Whipped Cream. 2nite, we're having frozen pizza. We will put some more sausage and Moz cheese on it before we cook it. See what happens. Well, will get going instead of writing a novelette. Heheeheh!! You take care Al. I'm going to go and make the Pizza right now. It is 9:30 pm here. It's 1700 hours there??

Get ready to write 2nite. I will get back on after midnight. Love you!!

Dear Alwight,

I am sincerely sorry for my debacle the other night. It's not like me at all. I just read it wrong and got upset. OK, yes, I was livid!! How would you like it if you read from it God Michael. I do hope that we can still remain close friends and I do ask you for your forgiveness. God Love YU!!

I accept that my books are fictitious, we know about the author and how and when he went about creating his perhaps self indulgent fantasies. Humans rather have a tendency to prefer fiction fantasy to more mundane reality.
Simply declaring the Bible to be "nonfiction" is what doesn't work Michael, there is probably very little in it that can be matched to hard evidence or facts, nor escape from allegory, myth, fictitious exaggeration and embellishment from its anonymous authors.

It's about the same from my end, its getting a little frustrating waiting to get the house sale completed which I hope will be next week now, I just wish they'd get on with it.

For whatever it is worth, this verse.

Dear Alwight,

I know there is no changing your mind on the books, so we'll just have to wait and see what the future brings.

I can imagine how difficult it is to sell the dang house. We are in the process of selling my Aunt's estate. It comes with everything inside of it. It should sell fast. The person who buys it will have a great garage sale and make more money off of that!!!

Hey, missed you. Once again, I'm very sorry. Misinterpretation. Communication is so vital sometimes. But you are a good friend and I shouldn't have reacted that way.

Much Love Coming Your Way,

Dear Untellectual,

I believe those words are for the ones created after the 1,000 years are fulfilled. I don't see how it could be taken as anything else.

Praise The Lord and My Lord!!!

Thanks Michael, storm in a teacup perhaps.
Perhaps you feel a need to be a bit defensive sometimes about your beliefs with doubters like me, never mind those who may rather hate religious belief, as some do it seems?
