If Jesus did not atone for the sins of the whole world, then Jesus is not Lord. If you don't believe that Jesus is Lord you will not be saved. All through the Old Testament and into the New Testament people are saved and justified by faith. Faith in God and his Son Jesus Christ is what brings us the Holy Spirit and makes the Gospel ours. We are justified by faith in God and his Son Jesus Christ, Romans 5:1.

"So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" which is the Gospel, Romans 10:17.

The Calvinist belief that Jesus only atoned for some sins is not according to the Bible and is anti-Gospel and anti-Christ. The definition for world is everyone, or all of humanity, according to the dictionary.

"That he (Jesus) by the grace of God should taste death for EVERYONE" Hebrews 2:9.

"And he is a propitiation for our sins: and not ours only, but also for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD" 1 John 2:2.

"And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the savior of the world" 1 John 4:14.

Because Of the atoning work of Jesus Christ, God has made Jesus both Lord and Christ, Acts 2:36. Jesus is Lord because he has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil for everyone.

"And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it" Colossians 2:15.

Salvation has been provided for EVERYONE. The law has been fulfilled, Matthew 5:18, sin has been atoned for, 1 John 2:2. God has perfected our humanity in his Son Jesus Christ and has taken it to heaven. Our salvation is in a very safe place at the right hand of God. This is why Paul wrote,

"And you are complete in him (Jesus) which is the head of all principality and power" Colossians 2:10

Having perfected humanity, God now offers this salvation to everyone as a free gift.

"Therefore by the offense of one (Adam) judgment came upon all men to condemnation: even so by the righteousness of one (Christ) THE FREE GIFT came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life" Romans 5:18.

The free gift of salvation is now available to all who do nothing more that call on the name of the Lord.

"Whosoever that shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13.

Amen. Jesus could not be called the 2nd Adam if he did not atone for and forgive all sin. This truth is so important because Religion is big business in our world that makes lots of money for the goats. If the truth ever got out that all sin has already been forgiven and the only requirement to be saved is to believe in the finished work of Christ, billions of dollars would be lost from religious flim-flam artists!

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved Rom. 10:9
