On what reasoning? Sending a nuke attack into Mecca is completely unjustified and out of curiosity, have you ever seen "Threads"? Or even "The Day After"? Nuclear war is insane. the MAD acronym is so apt.
Fair enough on that, I didn't think that you did along with GM although the fact remains, plenty of your far right brethren do.

Nearly 3 in 4 said there is little if any support for extremism among American Muslims. Just 6% said there is a great deal of support for it, and 11% said there is a "fair amount."
Likewise, more than 75% of American Muslims say violence can never be justified to further a religious, social or political cause. That's compared to 59% of Americans overall who said the same.

So in that respect, at least, they are slightly more American than the average American. Keep in mind, American Muslims are not necessarily representative of all Muslims in the world. Many of them grew up here, accepting our culture of law and freedom, and others came here specifically because of that culture.

Pretty much for the same reasons evil people everywhere abuse people of faith.
They want to force them to believe what they believe. Why do you think persecuted Muslims came to this country? Same reason my ancestors (and probably yours too) came to this country.
That's why American Muslims are less supportive of violence as a means of social, political, or religious change then most Americans are.
