Actual Hebrews 7-8

Among the many things shown to be superior about the new covenant that has come is that the ancestry of Christ doesn't matter the way it did in the old.

'Our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.' 7:14

So much for race. It wasn't his ancestry but his indestructible life. The former regulation (the old covenant) was set aside because it was weak and useless, 7:18

This is in the letter to Hebrews--where you would think that race matters! It does not.

8:1 announces/summarizes: we do have such a high priest. We are not waiting for one. It is not something that will happen in the future in geographic Israel.

This is in the letter to Hebrews--where you would think that geography matters! It does not.

Why? because the man-made sanctuary was just that. Thus it was only a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. Instead of trying to do something there, God has already completed everything in Christ in the real sanctuary. So much for chasing down details in the old one.

This is in the letter to Hebrews--where you would think that the old covenant matters! It does not.

Instead, it was replaced. God effected the new covenant and priest in Christ. He made the firs one obsolete and it would (then) soon disappear. It did. It was the austere event of the destruction of Jerusalem.

IN 9 it can help to review what happened in the shadow and copy, but if we need to know anything about it, it is there in 9:1-10. Because who wants to get too deeply in something that is just a reminder of sins? 10:1-4

Instead the new covenant of Christ is now enjoyed.

The remarkable thing is how the people who think they are on top of what Hebrews is saying NEVER sound like this summary, because all they quote is one verse from the 4 chapters, one proof text of their D'ist system. That's horrible treatment of the Bible. I have pointed this out many times, and all I get is cartoons/emoji's and steps toward exclusion.

Actually, I've read 100 D'ists deny the plain meaning of Acts 2:30--that the resurrection was Christ being enthroned.

Funny how they are literal until it is not D'ist, then they say it can't mean that.

Back to Heb 7-10: what does it say? Where is the enthronement of Christ on a Judean throne in Israel in it?

Isn't that odd? It's in the very book they think is "only" for Jews.

Interesting you mention Acts. Let's see what Peter was preaching to Israel in Acts 3
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the LORD; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. - Acts 3:19-21

Clearly, Jesus Messiah is in heaven UNTIL God sends him back to earth to "restore all things" and establish "the times of restitution"-"the times of refreshing" to the EARTH.

The position of the tribes around the tabernacle (pattern of the temple/mind) reveals why the right hemisphere of the temple/brain is where the tribe of light encamped, its numerology of the tribe of Judah is the speed of light that Christ is born from in the manger within man John 1:9, where that light dwells from physical birth the first temple ruled over by the flesh Matt 11:11 (OT) until the flesh rulership is subdued by the spiritual reconciled within man where the whole mystery takes place Acts 17:24, Psalms 78:2, 40:6. Literalistic tradition is always stuck in myriads of doctrinal positions that separate making accusers of the brethren instead of being like the Father who judges no man, scripture is forced to bow to history that divides the body mentally between two kingdoms Matt 23:13, when the kingdom and temple of God has always been "in man" Luke 17:20-21, 1Cor 3:16, Galatians 4:1, kept in ignorance by historical application of its inward intent and the reason one must leave that milk of the word Hebrews 6:1-5, 2Cor 5:16, Galatians 4:24.
Anyone who denies that Christ comes in all flesh is the true antichrist believing in a human sacrifice to save something that never needed saved, just awakened.
