God And Job And Suffering: All Is Well That Ends Well

Faithful Christians are admonished to work out their salvation in fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12), not ignoring God or taking Him for granted.

God And Job And Suffering: All Is Well That Ends Well

God was not punishing Job because of his fears or lack of faith. Neither was God putting Job through tough circumstances just to teach him lessons. God allowed Satan to hurt Job to teach millions of sinners who followed how to turn to God for protection and deliverance from evil which will...

What was missing from God’s existence that caused him to create Creation?

Just because God knew Adam would sin is no reason to assume God made him sin. Jesus is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world because God made provision for sins to be forgiven before Adam was created.

    What is Jesus saying here?

God created all things by Himself (Isaiah 44:24) God created all things by Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:9) God created all things by the Word of God (Hebrews 11:3) God's Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14) Jesus created all things for His own pleasure (Col. 1:16 & Rev. 4:4) Jesus is...

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

I know God claimed He was married to the children of Abraham in the OT, but I have never seen any indication God calls OT saints the bride of Christ instead of NT Christians who are supposedly not called the bride of Christ.

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

I draw from 1 Cor. 10:32 the three distinctions of humanity are the Jew, the Gentile, and the Church of God. In my opinion, the Jews in the wilderness were called the church in the wilderness because the people of God in the OT typified the people of God in the NT.

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

I cannot support some speculations which are not specifically detailed in Scripture. I see no indication that there are members of the Church who are not part of the bride at Jesus' marriage of the bride mentioned in Revelation.

    Repentance

God can and does save men who come to Him in faith. believing and receiving the Gospel preached unto them by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is based upon Jesus finished work of redemption on the cross, not on something humans do. But the fact that Jesus took away the sin of the world (John 1:29)...

    Repentance

More nonsense. Of course I repented of my sins in 1971, turned to Jesus seeking forgiveness and salvation based upon His shed blood on the cross, His death, burial and resurrection, and He saved me.

Are you a son of God? Is God your heavenly father?

I think that question is weak since it has no significant point. Paul mentions the body of Christ many times, for example, but no other NT writer mentions it even once. That has no bearing on the reality of the body of Christ or suggests other writers in the NT were not part of the body of Christ.

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

No. I believe the church and the bride of Christ are one and the same.

    Don't be ridiculous.

    Repentance

Angry? Listen, 2 Cor. 5 tells us God reconciled the world unto Himself on the cross but men still need to seek personally to be reconciled to God before they can be saved. Just because God reconciled the world unto Himself does not mean sinners no longer have to seek forgiveness for their sins...

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

If you recognize the fact that Christians are married to God right now and the church is Jesus' wife in the present, are you suggesting He will be getting a new bride later which is not the church?

    Repentance

God can not forgive sin based upon human sorrow, but He can forgive sin based upon the fact that He judged all sins on the cross and took away the sin of the world through the shed blood of Jesus (John 1:29.) However, just because God took away the sin of the world on the cross does not relieve...

THE CHURCH IS NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

Ephesians 5:32 suggests that the mystery between Christ and his wife, the church, remains a mystery to those who do not understand the Bible.

    What is Jesus saying here?

Jesus prayed, "Why hast thou forsaken me?" If God did not forsake Jesus in some way then why the question?

What was missing from God’s existence that caused him to create Creation?

God knew Adam would sin but that in no way thwarted His plan to have fellowship with saints after saving men from their sins. As if to take the blame for sins on Himself, God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself and not imputing their sins unto them, if only they would believe and...

    What is Jesus saying here?

God is not that simple as to be explained in human terms. God the Father and God the Son were separated when Jesus was on the cross. I cannot explain how but I do know why.

    False Christian teachers

Jesus said the wicked scour earth to find one rube to transform into a devil twice as wicked as themselves (Matt. 23:15.) This poor kid is being transformed by devils into a devil worse than his demonic abusers.
