Well, since we don't know who it is, I'm guessing it either got lost somewhere if they meant to have the author known or they purposely didn't want anybody to know. Just my guess. Could be another reason I'm not thinking of.

I believe we do not know who wrote Hebrews. But just curious, why do you think the author didn’t want anyone to know who wrote it?

They may believe this but on judgement day they’ll realize it had nothing to do with this but that they believed all of what I mentioned. I think all Calvinists believe this and that’s what really matters.

Well, I’m assuming he believes in the death of Christ that allows for his sins to be covered through Christs sacrifice and believes in his resurrection which is the reason we can have hope of eternal salvation. That’s all that’s needed.

Regarding my question, it wasn't an attempt to get Beloved57 to doubt his salvation. I have full confidence that he is saved.

I’ve read this thread and it seems like a fair and simple request. Please show the verses of Christ preaching about his death, burial and resurrection. I think once you do this, it will clear a lot of this up.

@beloved57, I was just curious, are you 100% positive that you are in the chosen group? What if God predestined you to think you are saved but actually plans on sending you to hell?
