I don't understand how you can say that Jesus, who was still immortal, could die. Immortal means you can't die, despite the recent spate of super-hero movies suggesting otherwise.

Don't be so stuck in your systematic that you don't read the text. They were seeing the gospel played out before, the good news that Jesus overcame death. They didn't have to hear it being taught.

Jesus, newly raised from the dead, is talking to them, breathing on them, eating with them, showing them His scars, telling them about receiving the Holy Spirit, and you say they only know about the kingdom?

Did you find other scriptures than the ones you already quoted? Because they didn't "literally" say that the testimony of Jesus is the 10 commandments. Just like the other verses we talked about didn't "explicitly" say anything about you, Gary, specifically. That's part of His testimony, sure...
