Paul tells the jews according to the flesh, that they are not the children of promise, the seed of Israel Rom 9:8
That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

The seed here spoken of Isa 45:25
In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

The Israel here are those Justified by Faith Rom 5:1
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

So True, and The Israel that was Justified by Faith, the Seed of Abraham Gal. 3:16, 29 the Seed of Christ, are the same Elect ones, which God Predestinated and Called to be conformed to the Image of His Son.

Rom. 8:28-30
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Israel killed their Saviour.

John 10:14-18
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Phil. 2:6-8
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Rom. 5:19
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

John 17:1-2
1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

The wages of sin is death Rom. 6:23; Mat. 12:31.

But greater or lesser sins were all paid for in Christ before the foundation of the world for all His Elect Children Eph. 1:4-7; Heb. 7:22; Is. 53:6; Rom. 4:8; Ps. 32:1-2.

Rom. 8:33
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

But all the rest shall go into the second death Rev. 21:8; Mat. 25:41.

Acts 2:23
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

These wicked hands were ordained of God, according to His Eternal Redemptive Purpose in Christ Eph. 3:11. He created the world for the Purpose of the Cross, that the Lamb Slain before the foundation Rev. 13:8 would be actually slain in time 1 Pet. 1:20 by the hands of wicked men.

Prov. 16:4
The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

So these wicked men were created to carry out God's Will according to His Sovereign Predetermined Counsel Acts 2:23.

That the Book of Hebrews was written to the Church, the Body of Christ, its seen when we consider Heb 2:11

11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Now He that sanctifieth here is none other than Christ, for He sanctifieth them by His Offering [death ] Heb 10:10;2:9 ;13:12

12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Now who are they that are sanctified ? Its His Body the Church Eph 5:25-26

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

In other words, the Church here in Eph 5:25 is the People in Heb 13:12

More on the Church in the Book of Hebrews.

The writer of Hebrews says, He that sanctifieth [which is Christ] and they which are sanctified [which is the Church] are all of One !

The same is said, implied back in Eph 5 when the Apostle wrote of the Mystery of the Church and Christ Eph 5:30-32

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

The words all of One in Heb 2:11

11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Does refer to the Fact that Christ as the Head of the Church, and His Body comprised of many memebers are One 1 Cor 12:12

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

Ps 130:7-8

7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

This is not speaking about Israel of the flesh, but the Israel of God, Gods chosen people..

You see, there is a Israel that is comprised of all the seed of Abraham, the children of promise, which is made up of both elect jews and gentiles..

Rom 9:6-8

6Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

But this gives us to be reminded that only a chosen people have the right and privilege to hope in the LORD and His redemption..

Excellent post my Brother!

There is only One Chosen People who have a right and privilege to hope in the Lord for Salvation,
For there is only One People Christ was made a Saviour unto, and that is:

ISRAEL, GOD'S ELECT, THE CHURCH / THE BODY OF CHRIST .

They are One and the same.

Christ is called Israel Is. 49:3 and also are His Elect Chosen in Him to have remission of sins Eph. 1:4-7.

The Israel of God that was Promised Salvation.

Is 45:17
But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

The Chosen Seed of Christ Gal. 3:16:

Acts 13:23
Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

Is. 45:25
In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

Jn 15:1

1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Jesus here is intimating that He is the True Israel..for vine represents Israel in scripture. Now remember how that the Son out of egypt intimated Jesus as Israel i.e Hos 11:1

1When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

Matt 2:15

15And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Now there is more scripture confirmation that this son called out of egypt, which was christ typified, also is typified by a vine, lets look at Ps 80:8

8Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.

This vine out of egypt, is Jesus the True Israel, the True vine of Jn 15: 1

And it serves to reason, all those chosen in Him before the foundation are the true Sons of Israel..

Amen, the Election of Grace Eph. 1:4 is that Israel of God that was promised Salvation as spoken of by the prophet Isaias.

Is. 45:17
But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Thus, this is the only portion of mankind Christ came to Save Mat. 1:21: God's Elect Israel, which is His Church Eph. 5:25, the Body of Christ Acts 13:23.

Its quite obvious that the nation of israel, Abrahams mere physical descendants were not Gods Chosen People Israel, because God cast them away Rom 11:15

For if the casting away or rejection of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

The them is plural, denoting the nation of people as a general. Now they could not have been Gods foreknown Chosen People because Paul says that they God hasn't cast away Rom 11:1-2

11 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.

They weren't His Elect as Peter mentions here 1 Pet 1:2

Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
