newbie: introduction

Hello all,

The Lord be with you all. I'm a Christian having recently joined the Orthodox Church. At the moment most or many(?) Orthodox Christians have started the great abstinence fast of Lent leading up to Easter.

I look forward to being part of the forum cyber community - and getting to know Christians from all over the world. I have much to learn from what appears to be a very diverse representation of Christendom.

Do you, by chance, think of the world in a series of two discreet categories or do you recognize variables as continuous (or perhaps somewhere in between)?

Hi Zeus,

The Lord be with you. Answering from a maths/ science perspective I think of the world in terms of variables and constants.
