This is dreadful: Because they support tradition and natural law, they are attacked by the postmodern goon squad:

Protestors from around the world gathered to call for a boycott against the brand

"Dolce and Gabbana have learned an important lesson on what happens when you take on the LGBTI community -- you lose."

And you are fine with those who would intentionally demean *children* by referring to them as synthetic?

That'll teach their parents, won't it?

This is a great example of what I was talking about recently - the intolerance of the 'tolerant' against those who disagree with them.

Did you see any reference whatsoever that stated "they should be jailed for their speech"? Right ... never happened.

speech should be punished w/ violence if it is not politically correct?

Did you have a quote with me saying such a thing?

And you are fine with that?

Not at all. I am never fine with violence except for situations of self defense.

You seem to misunderstand my meaning. I support the store's freedom of speech in the same way I support the freedom of speech of the gay activists.

Even IF I don't care for their message, I support their right.

Free speech, however, does carry certain responsibilities. The store used their speech and it received a reaction.

I am seeing a protest from that picture. Not sure how anyone could claim to support freedom of speech and at the same time wish to censor those responding.

This was interesting in the article - that the "genderless" campaigns are causing drops in support for same sex marriage (i think its also because of them trying to limit the free speech of others, its backfiring on them:

Dolce and Gabbana, whether they use the term or not, are strong advocates of natural law. Like the speakers at the Vatican’s recent Humanum Colloquium, they recognize and honor complementarity. The complementarity of man and woman is not a religious construct; it is written on our hearts, spelled out in our DNA, and present everywhere we turn and look at nature. Resisting it requires a truly herculean campaign by academics, politicos, and media personalities advocating the novel idea of genderlessness.

That campaign seems to be having a diminishing impact. Last week, Rasmussen reported that support for same-sex marriage sank to 42 percent of likely voters, down from 48 percent in December 2014

So let them continue to act as they are, while support for them drops and drops as their real agendas come out loud and proud....

The children did not choose to be trophies for the egos of their parents. It does not reflect on them, but on the adults.

Keep pretending that is what it's about ... it is YOUR words that demeaned their children.

I suppose it depends on how one looks at it. Myself, I don't like to demean adults or children, so I have to examine what is troubling me here.
