Here's why Trump wants us all to go back to work

We must all remember that, the next time you make any comment about any other country or its leadership.

yes, the next time I obsessively focus on another country's leadership and pointedly ignore my own

We are talking about a World Wide pandemic here, much bigger than folks like you (or your President?) ever anticipated, and it includes your country. So of course we make mention of the USA's situation just like we do our own.

except you've been very reluctant to discuss your leadership and very eager to focus on Trump

as well, if this is indeed a World Wide pandemic, then one might expect you to be devoting the same amount of attention to Jinping, Kovind, Matterella, Sanchez, Macron, Rouhani, etc

but no, just Trump

Just your bizarre obsessive hatred of Trump

did Trump steal your milk money when you were in third grade?
take your best gal away from you in high school?
kick sand in your face at the beach?

So ok doser ... could not come back with a figure.

told you, i addressed that - go back and find it
have a friend help you, if you can find one

(doser) wrote that all the US citizens who voted Democrat are retards.
... pretty sure I never wrote that
What? You? You chuck so many insults around, I'm not surprised that you forget. Must be something to do with your memory circuits or something.
I think I'll have to keep a note of your more outrageous comments, because you do seem to deny 'em later.

(eider posts three examples of me saying things other than "all the US citizens who voted Democrat are retards")

That'll do for me.

indeed it will :chuckle:

Since you've already assumed that my reply to ffree is an "appeal to pity," why should I even bother to explain it to you?
When you can answer that question, I will answer your question.
Why should I take your appeal to pity to not be an appeal to pity?
When you can tell the difference between a question and a rhetorical question, you will understand that I asked you no question to which I expect an answer from you.

Oh...... you didn't respond to my link, showing how you write off half of the US adult population as mental. Or low IQ.
I must keep such links in case you forget.

My obsession with Trump?
Huh? I have been talking about coronavirus mostly, on threads about coronavirus.
We've been discussing the Chinese stats just recently.

You really should pay attention.

Oh dear. Our specialists reckon that the USA will peak a few weeks after us in UK, and they expect our peak in 2-3 weeks, I think.

The USA's rate of new infections is still shooting up at this point. The virus has an incubation period of anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks (usually 5 days). During that incubation period, anyone could be infected with the virus and be contagious without even knowing it. If churchgoing people file into churches on Easter, the coronavirus will spread like wildfire, and many people will get sick and die who would not get sick or die otherwise! That's why it is so mindbogglingly dangerous for Trump to advocate for mass church attendance on Easter--and he can't say that he doesn't know any better, because all of the experts around him are telling him otherwise! That's why I came to the conclusion I came to in the OP: Trump apparently wants to "get it all over with" and move on, even though "getting it all over with" means that a bunch of people have to get sick and die in the process.

Show me video of Trump saying it is no big deal and show where he lied about it. Don't show me video of someone saying Trump said it.

I've already posted one on here and so has username but hey, here's another:

You are a mean person when you lie and pick on someone. Now tell us what Boris did that was done before Trump concerning the Corona Virus. I am waiting. Could you hurry up, because you are showing yourself to be someone hiding from the truth.

Oh, I'm "mean" because I'm "picking" on Donald Trump?! That's inadvertently hilarious and bullying is his remit, not mine. I've already told you that Boris Johnson could have speeded things up and should have so what else are you wanting?

That was no problem at all.
A Retard is a person with a particularly low Intelligence Quotient. So..... Low IQ.
That could also be construed as a mental disorder, by you, anyway.

Here we go again........................

WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF

Do you think that a massive % of Americans are mentally ill?
Well, there are a lot of Liberals, you know.
How you put your country down.

Half of them voted for Hillary, so yeah, not real impressed with their intelligence.

That'll do.

This was never going to be good.
Our UK peak is going to be horrific.
'They' were talking about 1-3% mortality rates back in February. They aren't now. The UK looks like about 4-5% at the moment.
We are losing a % of younger fitter people as well.

Data as of today

First case
US: Jan 20
UK: Jan 30

Total cases/1 mil pop
US: 373
UK: 252

Deaths/1 mil pop
US: 7
UK: 15

One might think you'd have more to say about your leadership than "oh dear"

............ I have no fawning adulation for any politician, of any party whatsoever. ...........

What have you thought about Boris's Press calls with the Chief Medic and Head Science?
Most people think he's done well, I think, and that includes Libs, Labs, etc......

You are mean, and hateful. Trump was careful from the beginning and was always hopeful That is what I see. Now go spend all day talking about what a liar Boris is, since you say he is too?

It's not about an election, it's about a PANDEMIC.

In other words, were you an American citizen, you'd be voting PANDEMICRAT.

The notion of sending people back to work and normal life weeks if not months earlier than experts have recommended has horrified public health officials, but as the White House so elegantly put it on Monday, “We’re gonna have to make some difficult trade-offs,” i.e. some people are going to have to die so the economy can live. (This death-panel scenario obviously neglects to consider the fact that possibly hundreds of thousands of Americans dying will have an extremely negative impact on the economy.)

It does seem as though Trump is now acknowledging that things may not be getting back until July/August...

It seems that even Trump is having to acknowledge this (hopefully) and so his ridiculous forecasts about it being over by Easter are postponed...

Political differences aside with anybody on here, I think there's many of us who sorely underestimated this virus unfortunately. I certainly did when it seemed far away.
