So sorry to leave people hanging this long about my mom. I just realized I hadn't posted to update.

She is back home. She may have COPD. There's a spot on her lung that their really concerned about that may be cancerous. She has a lot of trouble breathing on her own. To be honest, there are so many times I think she's going to cough up a lung. But at least it's way better than when she was in the hospital.
